I watched as my mother raise her wand pointing it at the pale, dark haired woman crumpled on the ground, her body withering in pain as she let out a high pitch scream. My mother's lips pulled up at the sides into her infamous sadistic smile as she caused this woman unbearable pain. Her husband slumped to the floor, his eyes downcast.

I rose to my feet, my wand tightly clenched in my right hand. I walked over towards him until I was right in front of him, I could see the beads of sweat dripping down his face. I gripped his chin, forcing him to look at his wife's body as it was struggling to breath.

"Just tell us where he is, and all the pain will go away" I whispered into his ear, then took a step back looking into his dark brown sorrowful eyes "I promise"

He turned his head to look at his wife and then back to me. He hardened his gaze and shook his head; tensing his shoulders, preparing himself for the worst. I turned to my mother nodding, giving her the signal that I have tried my best. Her smile grew, if that was even possible. I spared one last glance at the man on the ground, he returned my gaze with one of defeat. I quickly averted my eyes, knowing fully well that those eyes will most likely haunt me.

I walked into their small kitchen and over to their fridge, searching for something to drink. They didn't have much a couple of bottles of cordial and water; I reached in and grabbed a bottle of water downing it in a couple of mouthfuls.

I thought back to the sad look in his eyes, I couldn't help but think that I should do something to help them. They have a son after all. That thought struck me, if they had a son where was he. I placed my bottle of water on the bench and exited the kitchen.

The house wasn't a big house so it couldn't be too hard to find a baby, if he actually was here. I walked down the hallway to the right of the kitchen my back to the agonizing screams coming from the living room. The hallway wasn't a long one; it only had three rooms coming off it. I opened the one closest to me; the room was a master bedroom complete with a king size canopy bed. The colour scheme consisted of different shades of brown, making it feel warm and homey. I smiled approvingly and shut the door, and moving to the door opposite. I opened the door to see a black, white and blue bathroom; it was an average bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. I closed the door moving towards the last door in the hall. When I opened the door I was bombarded with the smell of baby powder. The room was painted a soft baby blue with white furniture evenly spaced around the room.

I quietly made my way over to the crib in the middle, the white crib mobile spinning in slow circles and playing a soft lullaby. But what caught my eye was the little innocent baby boy sleeping peacefully wrapped tightly in his blankets, unaware that his parents were being tortured in the other room. I was surprised that my mother didn't check the house thoroughly, but I guess it is understandable she is worried about the dark lord. I watched as the baby's chest rose and fell as he breathed in and out.

"Phoenix" I heard my mother screech my name across the house, she sounded urgent but my mother was always in a hurry she probably had a lead to where we could find the dark lord. I breathed out a sigh of relief, I don't know why but the thought of hurting this little innocent boy just made me feel sick. I spared the boy one last fleeting glance and left the room, little did I know that there was several Auroras searching the house. Until I walked straight into someone, I was about to sneer at them to move but was interrupted as they grabbed my arm and slammed me against a wall holding their wand towards my face. His dark blonde hair falling into his dark brown eyes, he looked to be in his twenties. His face showed confusion and sadness as he realized how young I was.

"What are you doing here? What is your name?" he asked sternly but there was a faint gentle tone to it. The shock had worn off now and my anger was taking over. Where was my mother? What did they do to her?

"Where is my mother?" I sneered, glaring at his surprised expression at my sudden change in mood.

"Who is your mother?" he asked tentatively.

"Bellatrix Lestange" I answered, confidence and pride radiating from me. He was shocked to say the least, he was speechless.

"Timothy" Another voice shouted "Have you found anything yet?"

The man who I assumed to be Timothy, snapped out of his shocked state and dragged me out of the hall and towards the living room, there was a large man with dark greying hair and a wooden leg standing where my mother was mere hours ago with his back to us.

"Alastor" Timothy addressed the man in front, "I found her coming out of the boy's room"

Alastor turned to face me, what shocked me was his eyes one was a dark brown while his other was a vibrant blue that moved around independently.

"And her name?" Alastor asked turning to Timothy, completely ignoring me except for his independent eye that seemed to be watching everything at once.

"She claims to be the daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange" Timothy stated respectfully, as Alastors head snapped towards me.

"So child if you really are the daughter of Bellatrix Lestange, where would she go?" He asked, displeasure hidden behind his words.

"I would never tell you even if my life depended on it, you filthy blood traitor" I screeched, glaring at this man that wanted to imprison my mother.

"You are your mothers daughter aren't you" Alastor grunted," Fine then what were you doing in the boys room, did your mother send you in there to get rid of him" I just continued to glare at him with hatred. Alastor let out another grunt "She isn't going to talk, Timothy take her to the ministry we'll deal with her later"

Timothy nodded tightening his hold, all of a sudden my body felt as if it were being pulled apart but I was used to the feeling as my mother usually apparatus, she refused to use any kind of muggle transport. As soon as we arrived Timothy dragged me towards a secluded area with heavy metal doors. He opened one up and put me inside giving me one last regretful look and closing the door, leaving me to my thoughts.
