Drop by drop,
moment by moment.
I felt the tears escaping,
felt like my heart exploding.

Weird isn't it? How pain's
connected to your name.
And still, - i can't refuse,
but say i love you.

You're the moonlight,
that so much i loved.
And you're the lightlings
on my messy sky.
Illuminating my life -
powerful enough to kill.

I loved you like I love the freedom,
like I love the blue,
like I loved anything, before you.

How I offered you nights
outside our small house,
love - between our kisses-goodnight
How aquainted we were to each other,
with our silly happy smiles
shining in our dark bedroom.

My nights have been dark,
and everything feels solitary.
Afraid to admit
how much I miss you.
How much i want to kiss you.
To feel your lips against mine,
to listen to your little, beautiful lies.

But everything's way back,
hidden behind the curtains,
lost in a field outside the town.
Held back by time.
And everything must be forgoten,
like you forgot me,
like you forgot the broken heart; hidden behind my laugh.
