"Aleks! Come on, already, dude!" You walk into the house, holding the assorted items you needed for the beach. It was finally summer, a nice day, and Aleks suggested that the beach sounded nice. Although, he was always the slow one to get ready. Ironic, considering that you could do your makeup faster than he could find the shirt he wanted to wear.

"Alright, I got it." He stumbled out of the bedroom, pulling on his shoes. You didn't know why he insisted to wear full clothing until you guys got to the beach. He was in pants and and a damn t-shirt. Of course, ya boi would choose to change at the actual beach. "I've got a special idea in mind, though, (y/n)."

"Oh god, it better not be one of those dumb ones." He always came up with the worst ideas, nearly %75 of them involving fire, and accidents involving the fire. And broken doors.

"Don't worry, this one doesn't involve anything crazy. I just have a good plan."

"Well, tell me."

"Remember I was looking up like, beach houses for rent? I found one that you can rent for the weekend. For cheap. With a private beach, how about that?!"

"Fuck, that can't be cheap... how much?"

"Uh... like $1,000. But that's for the private beach mostly."

"Aleksandr! How are we gonna afford that shit?!"

"We fucking can, dude. What else are we gonna spend it on? It's our year anniversary dating, I think it's worth it." You had forgot that your year anniversary had been tomorrow. Another ironic thing, he would always remember dates while you spaced out completely. "You forgot again, didn't you, ahaha." He did his adorable laugh and you knew that he wasn't upset. You smiled.

"Did you pack everything for an entire weekend, because it took you that long," you say, still smiling.

"Yeah, man. I got us everything and I brought your favorite clothes, too. You're welcome."

"And that's why I love you." You go help him bring the bags and suitcase with all the amenities for the weekend. You shove it into the backseat and let him drive. On the way, you ask him what beach house he rented.

"It's a really obscure one that no one really knows about, I didn't want us to be interrupted. It's kind of way out, though. It's called Outlier Rock. Mystic, right? Fuck, I mean, I don't want to talk about Pokemon haha." As he talked, you liked to admire his tattoos. With his hands on the steering wheel, it always a nice showoff of his sleeves. His forearm muscles were also defined, which made the colors of his tats pop even more.

"Haha, well, it's dead now, I guess. I'm looking this place up."

"What, you don't trust me not to choose a good place? Damn, dude."

"I'm not saying that, it's just..." As you trail off he looks at you, and you look down at your phone and giggle. He looks back, and you type "outlier rock" into the bar. This place ended up looking amazing. It was quiet, the beach was rocky, but not too bad. There was only one way in, and one way out because rocky cliffs surrounded a small crescent of the beach. The beach house was more of a raised cabin, very rustic and cozy looking. Leave it to Aleks to choose something that you absolutely fell in love in, even while the price was really high. "I can see why this place was so much, but it's absolutely perfect."

"I knew you liked rustic things, you always ask for those one chopsticks with the rustic glaze."

"That's one way to decide that I liked it, then."

"I can't wait to just sit on the beach with you, (y/n). It should be romantic, at least I hope."

"It will, I can tell." Aleks turns up the radio, doing a dumb dab that you really didn't approve of. He was such a meme. "Stop. Dabbing. And. Driving."
