-Sakura's POV-

"Naruto! Lets go!" I called out to Naruto's room.

OMG!!!

I'm so super duper triple mega excited!!!

Today, we're going to be officially Genin!

Yeah! You heard it right! Naruto and I are going to be Genin today!!!

Woohoo!!! Can't wait!!!

I almost jumped outta my bed when my alarm went off!

Naruto and I agreed yesterday that we'll go to school together.

Yeah, only the two of us..... no one else....

Sasuke.....

He really meant it and totally stopped seeing us.

He was seriously avoiding us.

Naruto and I took a week or so to recover from that horrible confrontation....

~ Flashback~

"You know what guys, how about we stop being friends now?" Sasuke said loudly.

As soon as I heard those words leave his mouth, I felt a pang in my heart.

What.....

"Sasuke... you didn't mean that...... right?" I said hopefully thinking that the statement was just a joke.

He took a deep breath.

"Unfortunately, I did," he said not hesitating.

I looked into his eyes.

There were no signs of lies there, no guilt...

Nothing....

Upon seeing this, I burst into tears.

Why?

Why did he want to break our strong bond?

Nothing seemed wrong.....

Or was there?

Then, I felt two arms hold me.....

I looked up.

Naruto....

I was surprised at his sudden action toward me.

But, I didn't care!

I just needed someone to comfort and console me....

At that, I cried even harder.

Then, I felt Naruto shake....

I looked up.

Even with my blurry vision, I could tell Naruto was crying.

"Sasuke..... WHY? WHY DID YOU SUDDENLY WANT TO BREAK OUR FRIENDSHIP?" Naruto suddenly shouted.

I buried my head in Naruto's chest....

I know it hurts Naruto.....

"Because I just hate when you guys interfere and get too close to my personal space!" he replied coldly.

All because of that?

There has to be another reason!!!

But, I wasn't in the condition to think logically as I usually do.
