His Weird Mate

"Love!!" Annie, my mother called
from the front door of our house telling me that they were finally ready to go to the Silver pack.

We are going to the Silver pack because we are in need of more silver for weapons in case rogues show up again. When I say again I mean that rogues have come here before and they have attacked the pack so they could get some of our food. You see we are the Reap pack and we are known for our farming skills. So my father,Liam thought of the idea to make an alliance with the Silver pack.

I grab my suitcase filled with the stuff I will need during our week stay at there. I run down the stairs and out the door to the car putting my suitcase in the trunk.

Sitting in the backseat, I put my earbuds in and start playing Can you feel my heart by Bring me to the horizon.

"Are you guys ready!" My mom enthusiastically said.

"No..I just ran down the stairs and hopped into the car because I'm not ready." I said sarcastically.

"Love..." my dad said in a warning voice. He didn't really appreciate the art of sarcasm.

I heard my brother, Luke failing miserably at holding in his laughter. He had one hand over his mouth to try to keep quiet.

"Shut it." I mumble lightly kicking his leg and turning my head to look out the car window.

My dad started the car and started the sort of long drive to the Silver pack.

    As we neared the Silver pack I took out my earbuds as we were stopped by two men who looked to be patrolling area.

    "State your name and business." The taller of the two said looking at my dad.

"Alpha Carter from the Reap pack. I am hear to speak with your Alpha." My dad said calmly.

"Oh Alpha Carter we were informed that you were coming. Please follow Mike here,"He jesters to the shorter male " he will show you to the Alpha's house."

This Mike guy shifted into his wolf getting in front of the car to show us to the Alpha's house. My dad slowly fallows behind him.

We came to a stop in front of Alpha Taylor's house. My family and I got out of the car to get our stuff out of the trunk.

I stop walking towards the trunk of the car. For some reason my wolf, Rika (mystic messenger fans you may scream now) started to get excited. I'm not the type of person to care though so I didn't do anything or say anything about it.

"Love come here and get your bag." My mom said taking my bag out of the trunk, placing it on the ground.

I snapped out of it and kept on walking to the trunk. I started to help with the bags when all of a sudden I smelled the most amazing smell. Pine and cinnamon. It was coming from my left...where Alpha Taylor's house was. I turn my head towards his house to see the hottest man I have ever seen in my whole eighteen years of living.

"Alpha Taylor, it's so nice to meet you. This is my mate Annie, my son Luke, and my daughter Love." My father introduced us.

"Love..."Alpha Taylor mumbled.

Just the was he said my name made me shiver. I always hated my name, it was to girly in my opinion. But it sounded great when he said it.

"Um yes that is my daughters name. I know it sounds strange, but my mate and I thought it was nice." My farther must have thought Alpha Taylor was asking about my name.

"I think it's perfect," he looked at me and I thought I saw a small smirk on his face "It suits her."

"Well why don't we head inside to discuss the alliance. While my family settles in there rooms. If that's okay with you Alpha?" My father asked

"Yes, it is fine. But I would like to have a word with Love afterwards."
