Midday was upon the two survivors as the door slammed shut, the sound of crackling metal was heard when the lock had finally had its reaction and hit the door. The Captain groaned inwardly and turned to Jyn, who studied his face carefully.
"I can't believe I've been imprisoned in my own home.. just can't wait and see the faces of every council member when they hear that Captain Cassian Andor is in a timeout." He growled, spitting 'captain' out.
Jyn chuckled slightly at his sudden burst, her skirmish with the guards fading in her head, yet the throbbing pain in her forearm reminding her. Yet She quietly agreed with her companion on the bright side though, it was not ideal to be held captive on the jungle moon whatsoever called Yavin IV, that was the HQ for the Rebellion Residence.
The former thief sighed as she let her senses take in her surroundings. The room they where set in was a plain, pale beige colour with long yet not very wide white curtains. One solid bed in the left corner of the room, a fresher and bathroom to the right and the windows in the top center wall. The flooring was a slate material, not like the marble in the ancient temple.
The room was actually okay compared to her former prisons, which were dorms with bunks and involved labor all the day, Jyn thought. Cassian who on the other hand, was only in a prison once, before this one. Rolling her alluringly striking emerald eyes, she watched her companion who was pacing back and forth somehow with his crutches, obviously concerned on getting out.
The way he paced made her on edge for a moment as she shuffled her feet. Striding over to him, Jyn grabbed ahold of his shoulders which made him jolt backwards at her sudden touch, his brows furrowed down at her questioningly. Jyn bit her lip, almost drawing blood when she looked up at him, getting distracted. His scruff was out growing itself and his warm, dark eyes stared at back with the same intensity her perplex visionaries held.
"Just calm down Cassian, please, it's stressing me out. " Jyn pleaded, which to her dislike, was unnecessary to do so. The rebel's only respond was a snicker and a arched eyebrow. "How else am I supposed to be distracted?" He asked, a smug look plastered upon his facial features.
Jyn looked up at the man who she had recently met and already felt comfortable with, and oddly, whenever the situation got rough, he was still with her. Always. Taking a deep breath she averted her eyes up at the bland ceiling as she released her grip off of his shoulders. They stood there in each other's presence as time passed, not talking nor touching.
