He's president. I wasn't going to make a chapter on this bc I didn't really want to write down everything and have to think about it, but I think I have to.
I'm scared.
I'm scared for Muslims
I'm scared for my friends who's parents are illegal immigrants
I'm scared for women
I'm scared for my community,
The LGBT+ community.
I'm scared because I don't know what's going to happen and the unknown is the scariest thing.
I don't know what's going to happen and I'm scared... I'm terrified
It doesn't feel real.... and I'm scared
But all I can do is hope.
Hope for unity.
Hope for peace.
Because in the end, peace will win and fear will lose.
I just have to keep telling myself that....
But I'm scared
And hopeful.
Because we are going to be okay.
Okay?
