chapter 6

Ava and Axel are now a week old.
School goes back tomorrow so we have to give the twins to Nicks parents to look after.

Ava wakes up crying at 2:15 in the moring so I wake up and take her downstairs so that she doesn't wake Nick or Axel up.

"Shh baby its okay. Mummy's here now." I say slightly rubbing her back.

I give her a feed and sit on the lounge with her in my arms.

After she has enough milk, she goes back to sleep.

At about 5:30 am both babies wake up screaming.

I pick them both up and take them downstairs. I change Ava's nappie, then Axel's.

I gave both babies a feed but they still cried. I gave them their dummies and they calmed down and went back to sleep.

I walked upstairs and put them back to bed.

By the time the twins went back to sleep, it was 6:10am so I started to get ready for school.

I put on my pink and blue shirt with tights and a pair of my converse high tops.

I straightened my hair and put make up on.

Nick gets up 20 minutes later.

"Good morning baby" he says.

"Morning." I say yawning.

"You look tired Sophie." Nick says.

"Yes the twins had me up early this morning." I say.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" He asks.

"Because you need your sleep." I say.

"So do you." He says.

I walk over to him and kiss him.

"Shh baby." I say smiling.

He wraps his arms around me and kisses me.

I run my hand through his thick brown hair.
He pulls away.

"I have to get ready." He says kissing my cheek.

After Nick gets ready, we get the twins ready.

I dress Ava in a pink dress.
Nick dresses Axel in a t-shirt that says 'daddy's boy' with some black pants.

We get in the car and take the twins to Nicks parents house.

After we drop them off and say goodbye, we drive to school

When we get to school, my best friend Jessica runs up to me and gives me a big hug.

"Where have you been?" She asks.

"I've been very busy." I lied.

I didn't want to tell her just yet incase she got angry.

"I missed you Sophie!" She says.

"I missed you too hun. Now lets get to class." I say kissing Nick goodbye.

"Bye babe see you at lunch." Nick says.

"Bye baby." I say smiling.

We walk to class and Jessica gives me a weird smile.

"What are you smiling about?" I ask looking at her.

"You guys are so cute!!" She says getting a bit too excited.

I laugh.
