Flaws

Chapter 1

Flaws. Thats the only thing my generation sees I guess. Kids with acne or medical issues are seen as weird. If you have depression, you are weird. If you're anorexic, you are weird. I've tried makeup, dieting, and anything to make me "cool". Even going to the brink of starvation. Nothin' can get a kid like me into the "cool group". It won't ever change. It'll continue through highschool, but now I'm done tryin' to get into that go-to cool group. It's too full of them Northerners, they brought their odd fashion to my town. It isn't goin' to stay. I'm Ivy Forbes, I live in the small town Corral City in Texas. Yeah the population was 27 back in 2017 but now? Its up to 899 people, half of them weren't even born in the south. The other half just stays clear of them Northerners. They dont have a clue what their sayin' most of the time. Well those Northerners, them came in, took over our town, took over our school, took over everything. They think its goin' to stay this way forever? They better wait because we're goin' to take back our town. The uprising, it'll start with the teens in the Junior High, then us highschoolers. It'll make its way to the college students, then the adults, and finally we'll reach the government. Some of them lil' JH kiddies are already makin' posters and goin' on strike. I say they're too young to be involved in this, but the plan is flawless. Or so it seems, theres always a flaw in the system. Ya just got to find it and eliminate it before it destroys the whole thing. We can't have these Northerners here anymore,  our kind southern ways will turn colder then a Michigan winter stom. These Northerners can NOT stay in my town.
