We Were Flying Part 1

"Can you please shut up, I really dont care about the damn photos you took" Ian hissed at Ever. Ian could see that Ever took offence. "Look Im sorry Im just exhausted and hot so.. so just leave me alone for a bit" he said apologetically. "Sorry" Ever sighed and looked out into the aisle of the bus. "Maybe if I sleep for a bit Ill feel better" Ian said aloud then closed his eyes and dreamed about a nice cold shower waiting for him back home.
Ian was awoken by a girl screaming "OMG MONKEY" and Ever shaking him. "Wake up IAN, there's a Red Colobus near the bus. Ian opened and eye and saw a glimps of the cute beast and rested his head back on his backpack "take a picture for me or something" Ian told Ever. "Whatever douchebag" she snapped, Ian chuckled and felt as though he really was being a jerk". Before he closed his eyes again he checked his watch to see the time. "Holy shit its nearly 5, I thought the teachers said we would arrive at camp by 3:20!" Ever overheard Ian mumbling "yeah same but I guess the bus driver doesnt know what he's doing" this worried the two passengers slightly.
Ian woke up to the bus bouncing due to dents in the road, he relized it was a lot darker outside then the last time he was awake so he checked his watch and relized the time. "Hey Ever, sorry for being a dick earlier I-" Ian said but was interuped "I know" Ever smiled "you always are". "Wow okay" Ian said, "well its just you're always sorry, you're never ok to talk to". Ian could see what she meant, he just wasnt into socializing.
Suddenly the bus bounced as if the front was lifted up and crashed down. All kids were screaming and panicking. A soon as the bus droped down on all fours it fell to its side. " Ever, whats happening-ahhh" the bus was ballancing on its side, half was hanging off the steep drop off into the deep abyss of nothing and the other half on the broken road.
"Ok listen up kids" the bus driver shouted "I want you to climb out of the top window area one by one" then said clearly "DO NOT RUSH". Kids infront of Lucas said in onison "what happened" while climbing out of there seats. "One of the tires got caught on a rock so I tried rolling over it but it just flipped the bus". The bus driver seemed to be just as shooken up as the kids.
Nearly 7 or 8 kids were left and Ian and Ever were still in the very back. "Yo what happned", a voice came from behind. "jeez Dave you slept through all that?" Ian asked in amazement, he could see Dave's eyes were droopy. "nah brah just smoken the herbs", Ian started giggling regardless of the situation.
Ever couldnt help but barge into the conversation "Dave you know you cant smoke pot in the school bus" she frowned "I prefer to call it herbs thank you" he smiled and fluttered his eyes at Ever. "The bus flipped over and now we gotta climb over the seats to get to the door hatch" Ian said. "bro calm down I'm a pro watch" Dave jumped around Ever and face planted the ground. "shit... Now what" Ever whined.
Ian, Ever, Dave and the bus driver were the only ones still in the bus and Ever was trying to wake up Dave. "kids if you dont hurry up dis bus is goin down" the bus driver shouted, "well why dont you tell that to my friend who is knocked out" Ever yelled sharply. "oh a lady with sass" Dave lifted his head and mumbled. "Your actually retarded" Ever growled
Ian and Ever lifted Dave up from between the seats. The bus shifted, and the bus driver jumped out of the front window that was shattered to peices. "wtf why did he just jump out, isnt he suppose to help us"? Ever said. The bus shifted again, "we really need to hurry" Lucas stressed. With each step the students waited a second just in case the bus would react wrong. Just as Ever could reach the safety window the bus shifted again. Suddenly the students felt as though they were flying, weightless even. "God please forgive me, give me another chance" Ever cried".
