The sun was always a killer in the morning, especially around this time of year. It was late October, and the humidity in Beacon Hills SUCKED! It was like waking up to Satan holding a flaming torch in your face! And when you have pale skin like Stiles, it's twice as bad. He's never wanted that window there, wanted to move it somewhere els, but like honestly, how are you gonna move a window? And there's even blinds over it. No help. But what are you gonna do?
And if you want to please your wife, then you keep the window open at night so you can be waken up 2 hours earlier than you need to be on a Sunday.
Because that's what you do when your married to Lydia Martin.
I know, Stiles couldn't believe it every morning either.
Somehow Lydia had fell for the clumsy, dorky boy - man now. Sometimes people would stare as she walked by, looking like a freaking super model, while she stood next to some nerd with an Avengers shirt on. But their wedding was as perfect as ever! He had his two best friends there, his dad, and the rest if his friends with them. It was perfect!
And here he is...sitting up in bed and staring at his beautiful wife next to him.
As he got up from bed, he stretched and threw on some pajama bottoms and a T-shirt. That's the thing Lydia never liked, when he walked around the house in his boxers in the morning. Well at least she doesn't like it anymore. He remembers when she would love to see his ass in the morning. That usually meant it would lead to more heated things. But not anymore.
He walked downstairs and headed towards the kitchen. It was still a huge mess from the 'party' last night.
It was a get together with Scott and Allison and it was supposed to be fun like they had in high school. Instead it was full of apple juice, baking, and a giant mess.
Stiles sighed and turned the oven on. He started to clean up the counter when he heard the slight movement upstairs. He froze and listened closely.
The steps were soft, hesitant almost. He heard them stop at what would be Stiles' room, then they were heading downstairs, moving slowly.
Brooke.
She was the most shy and careful out of the two. While Brooke had the quiet side towards society, she could be the most extrovert person at night, mainly with people she's comfortable with.
Soon enough Brooke came down the stairs with a yawn. She still had her hair tied up, with her PJs on.
"What are you doing up so early sweetie?" Stiles asked while taking out eggs and sausage for breakfast. Brooke rubbed her eyes and shrugged. "Didn't sleep well?" Stiles pushed some oj towards her. "No, I slept fine." She answered, taking the juice.
Stiles looked her over carefully. She looked pretty normal, as normal as she can look for the morning. Stiles took the rest of the mess off the counter and started to prepare breakfast as Brooke setnt to the t.v to turn on some cartoons, her normal Sunday routine.
After he started the eggs, his eyes wandered over to the calendar up against the wall.
'OCTOBER 26 - Jade and Derek head down'
He smiled at the note. Today Jade and Derek we're heading down from New York for the holidays. They would be here in a few days.
They've all done this for awhile now, ever since Brooke was born actually. Two of the trio would go to the others for the 2 month holiday every other year. Two years ago Scott and Stiles flew up to New York to hang with them for the tradition. It was Brooke's first time to New York!
It almost felt like he hasn't seen Jade in years. Well, technically 10 months, 27 days and 49 minutes. But hey, who's counting? He was excited! He had everything planned to make this end of the year perfect! He would finally be surrounded by the ENTIRE family. His friends. Pack.
And he couldn't wait!
