Momoka's Perspective.
~*~*~*~
I stared up at the huge school gates in front of me, more than a little intimidated by their size. Everything seemed so unreal. How was someone like me of all people chosen to attend Hope's Peak Academy?!
I mean, it's totally exciting, but super scary too. I shifted my weight nervously, unsure of what to do. I could just run into the school at full tilt and make a dramatic entrance, but something told me that would be a bad idea.
"Are you lost or something?" a voice from behind me asked.
I turned around, frowning slightly at the girls standing behind me. One of them had her arms crossed over her chest, a lax grin on her face. She had long blonde hair held up in low pigtails and bright blue eyes. The one who had spoken had fluffy short brown hair. Her eyes were a dull green, and she wore a friendly smile. "Need some help?" she asked in a sweet voice.
"Um! Nope, I was just about to go inside actually!" I grinned sheepishly. "I uh, maybe got kinda scared. New school. Intimidating and all that."
The blonde girl nodded. "I can understand that. I'm Megan, the Ultimate Pianist. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Seven," the brunette added. "I hope we can get along." She grinned as she said the word 'hope'.
"Oh! I'm Momoka, the Ultimate Origamist!" I grinned widely at the two. "It's so nice to meet you!"
I was going to say more when the sound of a bell chiming cut me off, signaling the beginning of class. Slowly, I turned around, exchanging glances with the other two girls.
"We're late." Megan looked a bit scared.
"What do we do?!" I asked, my eyes wide.
"RUN!" Megan bolted forward, leaving Seven and I to dash desperately after her. However... we didn't get very far.
The instant we set foot onto the other side of the gates, I stumbled slightly, overcame by dizziness. I clutched my head tightly, barely having enough time to wonder what was wrong with me before I fell onto the concrete, landing hard on my face.
I went out like a light.
