Annie kissed her lover goodbye. "I'm sorry Edward!" She ran off before she could return the cuff links he'd gave her.

Down the hallway and staircase passed tons of other guests for the brand ball. That was being held for Edward's daughter who just gotten accepted into Yale.....

She ran and ran till she was out the door and to her car. She dropped the cuff links. Without seeing she had and got into her hot pink beetle. Slammed the door in her hurry. Getting her dress caught in the door and speed off into the night.

It began to rain on the long drive back to her flat in London. When she got home. She bolted from her car and ran in side ripping her dress even more.

Slammed the door shut and leaned up against it and sobbed. She had lost the only person who had truly loved her. All because she was scared. The secret would come out and he'd be ruined and without a wife or daughter........

A few moments later she heard a kitty cat meowing and purring. Looked down at her feet to see her kitty cat.

"Hello, Penny pie." She greeted her only kitty cat. Lead down and picked up her kitty cat. "Have you missed Mommy?" And all she got back was a meow.

Penny pie was a orange stripped kitty cat who had pretty green eyes.

"Come on. Let's get you some dinner." She carried her kitty cat to the small kitchen in the flat and even though hours before. She had fed Penny pie. She put Penny pie down and opened another can of food and put it in a bowel for her and set it down on the floor.

Annie smiled and ran off to get ready for bed and out of the dress she could never wear again.
