Olivia's POV

"Here I go"

I knocked on the front door in complete fear. The music was blasting- people dancing in one area and chatting in another. The party was so big it went outside to the pool deck. The door opened, I walked in and that's when everything became complicated.

"Thank you for being here" Christian said.

He closed the door and led me to where five guys were standing by the pool. Walking outside, the most attractive voice engulfed my ears. To my surprise the one with the attractive voice was the one I was walking towards. His back was turned towards me and he was talking to the other guys.

"Who is that?" I asked myself. His voice is like music to my ears.

"Hey guys, this is my girlfriend Olivia" Christian said walking me up to his friends.

It was Christian's birthday where I met him. He turned around as we approached and our eyes locked, stopping me in my tracks.

"OMG" I thought to myself.

He smiled at me and said "Hey."

It was like nothing I had ever felt before. That one look. My face flushed bright pink and my heart melted instantaneously like ice under the hot sun on the sidewalk. I looked down, smiled and looked up at him once more. I stood next to him in the circle of all 4 guys, where I listened to their conversation hoping for an opening.

That one moment replayed in my head all night. I couldn't stop thinking about how his brown eyes gleamed in the moonlight. How his smile was smile was wide, bright and cute given the fact that he had braces but it was genuine. (I can always tell if someone is being genuine. What can I say its a gift.) How his hair was so effortlessly spiked up in the front without the use of gel. He was fit- you could tell by the way his black polo hung on his body, which fit him perfectly. He was tan, naturally that is. There was no excessive amount of sun in that pigmentation. He looked like he had just jumped out of a fairytale.

"You can't be real" I thought to myself the entire time I was standing next to him.

Ugh, I can still smell his cologne and hear his laugh.

Since I joined them in mid conversation, they continued on and I started puzzling things together about each of the guys. One guy was a player, two didn't say much unless it was a topic they enjoyed, and the other was a snotty rich kid.

"Do you guys mind if I hang out with you?" I asked the group.

To my surprise, they were kind enough to say "sure" but that guy smiled bright and seemed happy that I asked.

I had Christian next to me but I wouldn't look at him, but he walked away to greet his guests and spent some time with them, good music was playing but I had nobody to dance with so I moved slowly where I was standing. He noticed me moving, I kinda wish he asked me to dance. I found out a lot about that guy that night.

He looked at me for most of the night and I am pretty sure that he was oblivious to the fact that I knew. How did I know? Well, I was looking at him too. I guess I liked him looking at me. I knew it was wrong. Ah, he was gorgeous, intelligent, skilled, kind and funny. What more could you ask for?

Who knew one night would make me wonder. I figured I would never see him again, so I didn't think much of the infatuation. Little did I know soon after I would crave to have him in my life.

Damn, just thinking about him puts an enormous smile on my face; like a little kid who just got what they have been waiting for. A dark tint of pink flushes my cheeks still and a swarm of butterflies and happiness fill my body. The sound of his voice was something unforgettable.

"At least I'll never see him again." I thought to myself getting into my car going to Christian's house.

Flashback:

Nathan's POV

"How's that art school going man?" Justin asked.

"Yeah, any hot girls?" Luke jumped in.

I laughed and responded "its pretty awesome!" "Bro my girlfriend and I broke up" I added.

I haven't seen these guys in a a few years. It's nice to be able to talk to them again.

"Hey guys, this is my girlfriend Olivia" Christian said, walking over towards us.

I turned around and saw this beautiful girl with him. How in hell did he get her? Her long light brown hair was curled and was laying perfectly over her shoulders. 'She had tight ripped skinny jeans on, which made her look really good (if you know what I mean), her maroon crop top definitely complemented her skin tone and she had black vans on which I found interesting for she looked like a complete girly girl at first glance. She had a ring on her finger, and a ribbon tied around her wrist like a bracelet.

I smiled at her as much as I could with these stupid braces. She blushed and it was adorable, then she looked back at me with her hazel eyes. That's when I knew I was in trouble. She stood next to me, she didn't say much in the beginning but I could tell that she was uncomfortable. Was it something I did? Ugh, She was really cute.

"You go to an arts school?" She asked me. Her voice was so beautiful, so much so, I stuttered.

"Y-yeah" The guys looked at me like I was insane. They have never seen me get nervous, she was just so perfect.

"What do you do there?" She asked looking at me deeply.

"Uhhh... I play instruments" I stuttered.

For some reason I couldn't find my words. I was so nervous, it felt like I was having an out of body experience.

"Thats pretty awesome! What do you play?" She kindly asked me.

"Percussion, a brass and classical instrument" I responded. She smiled and giggled. It seemed to be that she understood what I was talking about, which made me smile.

"Do you play?" I questioned her and to my surprise she said.

"A woodwind instrument."

Some music came on that she liked and started to dance standing next to me ever so slightly. How could nobody ask her to dance? Nobody asked her to, not even Christian. Is he dense? Couldn't he notice? I knew the guys didn't like her butI don't know why. Was I missing something? She seemed pretty amazing to me.

We had things in common which made me happy. Once she left I told Christian, in front of the guys as we were all talking about Olivia. "Bro, she's cute." I received a weird look from all of them, and a new conversation was in action.

~Present (a month later)~

"I hope I see her again" I said getting in my car going to work.
