He called again, Yes!
"Hello?" I put on my innocent voice.
"Hi. It's Alex," he was nervous.
"Hi," I said as I paced around the pool.
"Can we meet up? If you're not busy," he said.
"Shouldn't you be home and resting?" I asked.
"No I'm fine, I just want to apologize to you," he said.

"Apology accepted," I said.
"I didn't apologize," he said.
"You were getting there," I smiled.
"Meet me," he said.
"I can't," I said.
"Why not?" He asked.
"I don't have the best excuse yet," I said.
"I don't want an excuse," he said.

"That's what you'll get," I said.
"I was really an a*s**** and you didn't deserve that," he said.
"It's okay," I said.
"Now let me meet you," he said.
"Do you still remember where I live?" I asked.
"I'm sorry," he doesn't remember.

"I'll text you the address and what time to meet up," I exhaled.
"Yes!" He exclaimed.
"Bye," I hung up.
I was doing this, I was doing this! He'll have to arrive during the party so that mom won't see him.
I am doing this!

So I have approximately three hours to get ready, Q better help me on this one. I need her.

"And you are only telling me this now!?" Q asked. I just told her about Alex coming over.
"He just called Q," I sighed.
"That's no excuse young lady, come with me," she grabbed me.
"So what do you want to wear?" She asked as she opened my closet.

"You're probably gonna not agree so why don't you pick it out yourself," I said.
"You know me so well," she smiled.
After minutes of stripping in and out of clothes we finally found it. It was a nice classical but very attractive jumpsuit.
"Fits like a glove," she cheered.

"I really don't know about this whole cleavage here," I said.
"Yeah you don't, this cleavage baby will make him remember everything!" She laughed.
"Not funny," I laughed.
"Okay, you'll have to go with not that high shoes, clean makeup and a messy bun," she said.

"Sounds good to me," I smiled.
"Okay, let's go downstairs before your mom notices that we're missing," she said.

~*~

"Wow," Q smiled as she took one last look at me.
"Thank you," I hugged her.
"Did you send the message?" She asked.
"Yep, I sent it like an hour ago while you we're dressing up," I said.
"Good," she took her phone and we took some selfies.

"Everyone please come down the guests are arriving!" Mom yelled.
She looked so pretty and young and she was glowing even though she was worried about the party.
"Ready?" Q asked.
"I hate parties," I exhaled.
"Well you'll love this one," she said.

~*~

"Hey," I excused myself as I answered the phone.
"Hi I'm here," Alex said on the other end. I guess he also forgot that he sends me a text 'outside'
"I'll be right up," I hung up.
"He's here Q," I whispered to Q.
"Then what are you waiting for?" She asked.
"I'm scared Q," I said.
"Don't be, go on I'll cover for you," she said.
"Okay I'll see you soon," I exhaled.

I took deep breaths as I got close to him. He was leaning on his car, damn I missed that car.
"Hi," I greeted.
"Hey, wow!" He exclaimed.
"What?" I asked.
"I feel underdressed," he exhaled.
He was wearing sweatpants and a tank top and black converse.
"You're okay, we're having a little party inside" I saìd.
"And you look great by the way," he smirked.
"Thanks," I smiled.
"Wow," he exhaled.

"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he said.
"You look like you have something to say," I said.
"It's just that, how can I forget a lovely person like you," he said.
"Don't beat yourself up, I'm here aren't I?" I asked.
"How can you take this lightly?" He asked.
"I wasn't at first but I realized that there's no one to blame," I said.
"I'm really sorry," he apologized.
"I'm sorry too," I said.
We then found ourselves staring at each other,
