I went straight to bed. Why did he have to drink? Why was he drinking alcohol because of what I said?
I quickly downloaded the song and I put on my earphones and listened to it.
Wow! Perfect dedication, it's like they wrote it for us. I love it. And that's why I listened to it over and over again until I fell asleep.

I woke up to the annoying sound coming from my phone underneath my pillow. It can't be an alarm, today's Saturday. Wait, it's a phone call.I quickly grabbed it without even looking the caller identity.

"Hello," I greeted.
"Hey it's me," it was Alex, what now.
"Dude it's six o'clock in the morning," I said.
"Look McCarthy I had no right to come to you drunk," he said.
"Oh so now you're sober?" I asked.
"I think so,look I'm so sorry I don't know what came over me," he apologized.

"It's cool," I yawned.
"I'm gonna make it up to you," he said.
"No please don't," I said.
"I'm not taking no for an answer," he said.
"Fine, the song was great," I exhaled.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Well I'm glad you liked it,hey are you busy today," he asked.

"Kinda," I lied.
"You're lying, come on I'm trying to do something for you," he said.
"I'm not lying," I lied again.
"Okay then I get it, you don't want to see me," he said.
"Look,I accept your apology, now can I go back to sleep?" I asked.
"Okay,I hope I didn't embarrass myself," he said.

You said you LIKED me!!!!!!!
"No you didn't," I smiled.
"Well sweet dreams," he said.
"Bye Alex," I said.
" if I would have known that you wanted me,the way I wanted you," he said the lyrics of the song.
"Then maybe we wouldn't be two world's apart but right here in each others arms," I sang.

"You already know it!" He exclaimed.
"I'm smart, remember?" I asked.
"And I'm impressed. Hey McCarthy, we almost dated but almost is never enough," he said.
"Yeah right, take care now," I said.
"You too,I'll send you something so be on a look out for a delivery man since  you don't want to see me," he said.

"I didn't say that," I said.
"Bye Princess," he said.
"Bye Greg," I laughed.
"Cheers," he laughed.
I hung up and closed my eyes.
I almost did Alex. I almost dated you.

"Wow," Taylor cleared her throat.
"Hey! How long have you been listening?" I asked embarrassed.
"Long enough to see that you're truly in love," she said.
"No I'm not," I said.
"Okay I believe you," she said.

"Hey how does it feel like to be in love?" I suddenly asked.
"I know it sounds clichè but... butterflies fill your stomach and you feel weird around him... it's the best feeling ever," she said.
"Well I don't get any butterflies or any weird feeling around him," I said.
"Did you realise how you were tossing and turning when you talked to him?" She asked.

"No,I did not," I lied.
"I'm just saying it doesn't always have to be butterflies," she said.
"I hope you're wrong," I said.
"I hope so too," she smiled.

"Out of my way!" I yelled as I raced to the door as the door bell rang. Quickly opened the door and unfortunately it was my best friend.
"Wow,such a warm welcome," she said.
"Since when do you ring the bell?" I asked. I thought it was the delivery man.

"I'm trying new things," she let herself in.
"Where you expecting someone?" She turned to me.
"Kinda," I said.
"Who?" She asked.
"The delivery guy," I said.
"Oh," she was disappointed.
"Alex said he'd send me something," I said.
"Great, what is it?" She got cheery.

"I don't know," I said.
"Maybe it's something special and romantic and...wait how did it go last night?" She asked.
"It's a long story but I promise to tell," I said.
"It better be soon," she left me.
"You got it!" I yelled. Well back to the waiting room maybe I should wait outside.
