I was walking down the streets in a new town called Manchester, this is different from Brisbane, totally. Well the part of Brisbane i am from is kinda the higher market. Me and my best friends Phoebe and Natalie was walking along in town and it was cold.
We are 20 and we wanted to get out of our comfort zone, it was just me and phoebe is was our mates Kevin (aka Sam) and Tyler. We have been wanting to move away from Brisbane for a long time now, i think since we were 17.
We wanted to see what the clubs are like and i guess me and phoebe were stupid enough to wear shorts in the middle of the winter. We thought we would be warm with our tights but i guess we arent. As we walked down the dusty road of Manchester and we got to this club, it looked cool so we decided to go. We waited inline for like 20 minutes and then we finally go to the front we werent aloud to go in. So i turned around ready to leave when i saw him. His chocolate brown eyes pierced through mine. I didnt notice he was walking up to us when Phoebe pulled me back and i stumbled.
"Darian, that guy with a cute friend is taking us into the club!" Phoebe wispiered in my ear so only i could hear.
"What?" I said confused.
"Just shut up and get out the cold!" Phoebe told me and pushed me in the door.
We got in the club and got lead to a booth and then i saw the same guy i was looking at, it was him that phoebe was telling me about. I sat down with Natalie, she was busy texting Beau her boyfriend, he is still in Australia and she misses him terribly. So i just sat there drinking my drink while Phoebe was working her magic with a guy. I stood up just to get another drink from the bar when someone stopped me.
"Hello i am Matt, Matthew Healy. You are?" Said the guy i was stareing at earlier.
"I-I am Darian" I stuttered, how stupid of me now he is going to think i am a freak!
"Thats a nice name, So what are you doing there sat alone?" He asked whilst looking at me with a questionable look.
"I wasnt sitting there alone, i was sitting next to my mate Natalie." I said with a smerk.
"Ah but she wasnt paying attention was she?" He asked smerking at me.
"No but-" I got cut off short because a few girls came up to us and asked Matthew for a photo. I looked at him with a confused look and then he just smilled and mouthed 'Tell you later'. I rolled my eyes and walked away until i heard buzzing noise coming from my purse.
Kevin was calling. I answered the phone.
*You alright Kevin?*
*Yeah, i am alright, what club you guys at?*
*Um we are at Funky's*
*Alright, i will meet you there*
*Wait i dont think you can get in, text me when your outside okay*
*Uh yeah okay*
Once i put down the phone, i looked across the room to see if Matthew was finished, he was and he was making his way up to me.
"Sorry about that, they are just fans," He said with a slight smile.
"Why are they fans?" I asked confused.
"Have you heard of th band 'The 1975?" said Matthew.
"Um no?" i said.
"Well i am in that band, and i guess they just fans of ours" He said. "Shit, i sounded like a dick, i am sorry."
"Oh no its fine, i didnt think you were in a band but thats cool, i love music. I learnt how to play the guitar when i was 13" i said with a smile.
I felt a buzz in my hand and checked my phone.

I smiled and then i asked Matthew to help me get them in and he gladly accepted. So we went down to the front door and Matthew talked to the security guard, they let them in and we went back to the booth.
"Thank you for getting them in, i owe you something now." i said to Matthew.
"Well i guess you can come out to dinner with me?" He said cocking his eyebrow.
"Um okay then" i replyed with a big smile
