-Mia's P.O.V-
New school, new start! Nobody knows me here. They won't know of my past. That's good... right? I don't really know what's wrong with me but I don't feel things. Most girls my age will have had a crush or even a friend! I haven't. Not because nobody wanted to be my friend, I just didn't want to be their's.
In this new school I don't have any intentions to do anything differently. I'll just stick to myself and do me.
Suddenly, I fall backwards on to the floor.
"Hey watch where you're walkin-" I started but I looked up and realised I'd walked into the wall. Great... Just great! I already look insane. Jumping to my feet and picking up my bag, I realise nobody else is around me.
"Where did they all go?" I mutter wondering how hard I'd hit my head.
The bell rings loudly and I realise that everyone was at class. Oh god!
Eventually I slide through the door just in time to be counted and not get a late mark.
Everyone turned to look at me as if I had just killed ten people and came in here to hide. "Oh you must be Mia," said a lady with long hair and a jacket covering her blouse.
"Yes, I am," I say trying to read her name tag, "Miss Devon," I finish.
"Take a seat," she said pointing to a table at the back with nobody else sat there. Perfect!
English whizzed by and we soon moved to math, which I was quite good at. A man with no hair at all called Mr Ferret taught me in math. Most of the class thought he was joking when he said his name was Mr Ferret. All I can imagine is a ferret wearing suit styled trousers, a button up top, a tie and some fake glasses.
After math there was break; I planned to sit alone on a bench across from the football pitch to read Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban for the seventh time. I started reading as I left math. To be honest I probably should've looked where I was going.. but I didn't. I felt the cold air hit my face and I knew that I'd made it out side without falling and breaking my face. I put my book away to walk down to the bench, I'd just about got to the bench when I football flew at me knocking me and my bag to the floor.
Slowly the football rolled away and hit the foot of another person.
"Sorry, are you okay?" Came a voice. Probably from the person standing in front of me but I didn't look at them, I just grabbed my bag and started to walk off when they grabbed my shoulder and pulled me around to face them. My jaw dropped
He wasn't like the others...
