Introduction

Jake had gone to Wales with his dad and his best friend Enoch who had short brown curly hair and brown eyes , she was named after her older brother who went missing like 73 years ago
I am enoch O'Connor jr  it's weird I know but everyone calls me connor
Jakes grandpa had died and jake thought it would be a good idea to go to the place his grandpa was raised in, we were on a ferry to wales and jakes dad was pointing to a bird
"Do you know what kind of bird that is!"
"It's a peregrine." I replied
"How'd you know?"
"It was a lucky guess." I said
We sat in silence as we waited to get to wales
Me and jake walked around until we found some guys who took us to a shortcut turns out the shortcut was a mud hole jake got across and helped me across and we went into a house
We were exploring when a girl said
"Enoch, abe?" She whispered as jake ran and tripped knocking himself unconscious
"Real smooth romeo." I say while picking him up
"I can help carry him." A girl said
"Okay what's your name?"
"Bronwyn. What's yours?"
"Everyone calls me connor."
"Hi connor." She then picks up jake and walks to a cave then drops him, he jumps up
"Enoch!" He screamed
"How do you know enoch?" Asked a  girl with platinum hair and lead boots
"That's my first name.." I say looking down
"Come with us." She replies
We nod and follow her when we get there a women says
"Right on time children. Hello I'm miss peregrine." She smiles
"Im jake and this is connor."
"Lets go inside for tea." We walk in and see a girl holding the kettle as it cooks
"That's enough olive nobody likes over boiled tea." She nods and pours a cup, we hear rustling behind us
"Oh enoch."
"What?" We both say
I turn and see a guy who looks just like me
"Enoch O'Connor meet Enoch O'Connor jr." Miss peregrine says
He excuses himself and carries his jars of hearts upstairs then comes back down
"So mother had another child after I left." He said inspecting me
I look down
"Yes they did. She told me stories about you."
"They told you I was a monster."
"Yeah but I always thought you were amazing, you were my role model."
"Why wasn't dad?" He said
"Me and dad don't get along."
"What do you mean."
I stay silent and look down
"Your dad beat the shit out of her before he died then she went to live with her second cousin who thought it was funny to hit her with blunt objects." Jake says holding my shoulder
Enoch stand silent but grabs my hand and takes me upstairs to his room
"Im going to show you why I left." He says
I nod watching intensely as he pulls two hearts out of a jar and puts them into two dolls , they jump awake and enoch whispers something  they started to fight to the death until one of them won
Its heart have out.
"I hate that they don't stay alive." He said I just look at him and smirk
"What." He asks I just continue to smirk then I lay my hand on the doll and it jumped alive
"You're like me?" He asked
"Mine last until a force kills it." I say ripping the heart out of the doll and watching it die
He grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs grabbing bronwyn and the others including miss peregrine and we go into a back room where there​ is a boy laying in a bed
"This is victor, Bronwyn's brother." Enoch says
I walked up to him and I knew what my brother was asking me to do so I put my hand in his and focused on giving him life
I heard a gasp then the hand on mine squeezing
"Connor, you brought my brother back to life." Bronwyn pulled me into a bone crushing hug and thanked me. My nose started bleeding and I got dizzy when I started fainting I heard footsteps and I felt arms around my waist my vision cleared enough  for me to see victor then I was swallowed by darkness
I woke felling hot breath on my forehead I didn't open my eyes but I buried my face  into their chest.
