it had been a week, since i kissed the mysterious finn wolfhard.
and had been a week since i last saw him.
after the kiss, we talked and he left.
no texts or calls.
he just, vanished.
gaten had said he went to his parents house for the weekend.
but i have a feeling that isn't true.
i walked to class quietly and gripped my textbooks waiting to see sadie.
finn isn't going to be there for me forever.
i need to learn how to defend myself.
"hey mills," i maddie's voice behind me
i turned around and saw her and levi.
i rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"millie?" she asked again, a little bit louder
i spun around, "what do you want!" i practically shouted
"um- i don't know what's going on with you but i think we need to talk." she glanced at levi and nodded her head.
he walked off and maddie took a step closer.
"look, i know we haven't spoken to each other in forever and your probably mad-,"
i sighed
"levi just wants to be friends, i miss the old you.."
"the old me, what is that supposed to mean?"
"you know, the staying out late, getting drunk every night millie. but now your into band geeks and curly haired freaks."
i raised my eyebrow, "at least their my friends who actually care, unlike you and your popularity."
"pst- so who is this finn guy? because right now, he doesn't look so loyal to me," she looked past my shoulder
i turned around and saw finn talking to sadie, and laughing.
i felt my face get hot with anger as i shoved past maddie and walked to class.
i sat down vigorously and slammed my books on the desk.
i felt everyone turn there heads in my direction.
it got quiet, when finn and sadie walked in laughing, everyone turned their heads towards them.
i crossed my arms and waited for finn to sit down.
"hey," he said slowly
i ignored him as i played with the corner of my textbook.
"hey." he repeated
i turned my head to look at him, "so- so you and sadie, huh?"
he furrowed his brows, "it's not what it looks like,"
"that's a crappy excuse,"
he leaned close, "you wanna know a secret,"
i leaned closer, "what?"
"i like you and only you, no one is going to change that," he paused, "and i'm only talking to her to find out more about caleb."
