My hands were fumbling. I couldn't think straight. I didn't know I could be this afraid before. My heart was thumping at an unnatural pace. Thump thump. Thump thump. Thump thump. As I was looking around at my surroundings, I realized what I had finally been looking for this whole time. An escape. A way out of this hell that I was currently trapped in. I needed a handhold. Some piece of my fragile sanity to grasp as my heart thumped louder. Thump THUMP. Thump THUMP. Thump THUMP. This was the end of me. I could tell. My hands were trembling. Sweat was coursing down my neck in large drops. I could hear it dripping. Drip. Drip. Drip. Thump. Thump. THUMP. Now that I had fully accepted my demise, I wasn't fully surprised to hear the words of Satan himself enter my ear.

"Okay class. Pencils down. Time's up. No more writing." My teacher droned as she signaled the end of the timed test.
