Phils POV

It was the day of the date- I mean the day of me and Dan just hanging out. I still don't know what this was. Did Dan think that it was a date, or just hanging out with a friend? I wanted to ask, but that's too weird to do.

It was 5:03 right now and are "date" or whatever it was. Is at 8:00. What do I wear? Should I dress fancy, casual, casual fancy? I don't know!

"Ok what do I usually wear when I go skating?" I muttered out loud.

"I guess I just wear sweats or tights, a T-shirt, and a jacket." I thought for a second. "I guess if I wore tights it would show off my butt" I chuckled to myself.

"Gosh I'm weird"

I first went and took a shower. Then I got dressed. I decided to wear my red sweats with my blue plaid shirt.

I grabbed my phone to see what time it was. It was half past 6. It takes 30 minutes to get to the skating rink. So I have to leave in an hour. How am I going to pass the time?

My phone then buzzed in my hand. I glanced at the notification before it disappeared.

"Mum-inater"

I went and looked at my notifications and clicked on her message.

Mum🌸: Hey Phil! Just checking in. How are you sweetie?

Phil🌟: Hey mummy! I'm good in actually going to go hangout with a friend soon

Mum🌸: A friend? When did this happen! What's their name!? How did you meet!? Tell me the whole story!

Phil🌟: mum calm down, ok ok so...

After a bunch of questions and long response. My mum asks me this question.

Mum🌸: Do you like this Dan?

Phil🌟: mum just because I'm gay doesn't mean I like every guy I met

Mum🌸: well do you like this guy?

Phil🌟: well maybe....

Mum🌸: I knew it😉

Phil🌟: muuuum

Mum🌸: haha I'm just kidding Philip

Phil🌟: OK mum, I gtg I'm going to meet Dan soon

Mum🌸: don't get to carried away with him😉

I've been talking to my mum for like 30 minutes now. I could always talk to my mum about anything. She always understood.

I decided to go to the rink early. I had nothing else to do. Why not?

Phil🌟: Hey Dan are you going to start heading to the rink soon?

Dan🎹: I'm actually here I came just a little bit early

Phil🌟: oh OK well I'm going to be there in like 5 min. See yes soon then😉

Dan🎹: wink face uh.... 😉

Phil🌟: 😨omg I did not mean to click that, omg I'm so embarrassed

Dan🎹: haha its cool 😏😉

Phil🌟: did you mean to do that?

Phil🌟: omg OK I'm going to continue driving now

Well whatever I'm here anyways.

I walked in and Dan was sitting at one of the first tables in the rink.

"Hey Philly!"

I walk up to him well chuckling.

"Why hello Danny"
