The farm

I woke up to hear my aunt shouting and screaming, I looked out the window of the attic to see a only a ray of light beaming from the lush, green mountain range I got up off my scratchy mattress and put my potato sack blanket over my mattress I then ran downstairs and out the door only grabbing an apple and a basket and then walked to the chicken coop to collect eggs. I walked into the kitchen to see my aunt with her eyebrows raised as she yelled"breakfast should have been ready 15 minutes ago" I then mumbled "sorry madam" my aunt then pulled my ear and walked me to the stove and then yelled "no food for you today" she then took my apple from the basket and stormed off. I then made my selfish aunt and drunken uncle an omelette and then went to milk the cows . After milking the cows my daily chores were done I went to my horse and put the saddle on tightening the reigns I got on my horse and rode to the fence where a shirtless Oscar was standing her then smiled at me and yelled across the paddock" are you gonna come talk to me or stay there and ride your pony" I yelled "hahaha" I rode over to Oscar and asked" do you have any food I could have my aunt said I was late to make breakfast so I didn't get any food?" Oscar tilted his head towards his homestead and I ties my brown horse to the fence and jumped over the fence where Oscar was waiting for me we were walking up to the homestead when Oscar asked"so how is your plan to move to the big city going?" I replied "I don't want to talk about it" Oscar asked "why?" I replied "at this rate my aunt won't let me leave the farm until she is dead" Oscar then softly said "maybe we should sit down here on the hill and talk about it" I nodded he sat down and pulled me down I giggled. He then looked me in the eyes the sunset behind us and I whispered "my aunt treats me like a slave I don't know how to escape my aunt" Oscar whispered " meet me at the back fence tomorrow midnight pack your stuff" I nodded and looked Him in the eyes and blushed he then leaned in and kissed me and I kissed back Oscar gave me an apple as he walked to his house and I got on my horse and rode off to my house.

That night

I packed my stuff and put all the things I needed in my bag for the next four years I looked out the window it was raining I didn't know how to get to the back fence.
