Trouble

Everyone else had gone off skateboarding and let me say they had skill. The boys were of course good at it and were showing off but the girl had major skill too. Eryn was probably the best of them and the boys I think were a bit jealous.. Girl power!!

Nathan brought me over to a flat surface and told me to place the board on the ground and told me to get on. So me being me seen this on tv and put one of my legs on the board and bent my back towards the board. I heard Nathan chuckle from behind me. I turned to look at him, 'Hey don't laugh I've never done this before!' I said and turned back around. 'Ya  ok so first of all your stance is all wrong' He said and put his hand on my waist to pull me up to the proper stance. 'Now ok, I'll hold onto you and with your foot that is on the ground lift it and push it off the ground so your gliding' So I started following what he said and I did it. I got all excited and hugged Nathan saying 'yay I can skateboard' He let out a loud laugh. 'Haha that's not near how to skateboard princess' Aww I was sad by this and was unhappy. 'Ok so next do the same thing and I will hold onto you but push the ground with more force this time and you will go a bit further and this time place your other foot on the board too'. he said smiling at me and reassuring me. So this time I hopped on the board and Nathan placed his hands on my hips to keep me steady. 'Ready?' I nodded and pushed forcefully on the board and this time I went further and it felt even better, it was like flying for a split second. The board stopped and Nathan congratulated me and this time he asked me to do it by myself. I was ready I know I was. So I got on the board and 'flew' again!! I didn't want to stop. Nathan reassured me 'Your doing great go don't stop!' So I did it I pushed my leg off the ground again and kept going! I couldn't believe it I was doing it!! I was flying at this!! Oh no there was a bin in my way!! 'Teddy!' Nathan yelled.

Some how I managed to turn. I not really sure how I did it though. I think I leaned a bit more on the opposite side and I think I bent my knees, thinking I was gonna fall but then I leaned a bit to the right try to avoid the bin and I turned! The happiness I felt was amazing. I done it. I was so sure i was going to fall but I didn't! 

Nathan jogged towards me a smile plastered on his face. 'I think you can skateboard now' He said to me with a cheaky grin. 'Yess!!' I screamed and jumped into Nathans arms and hugged him. I got down and kissed him lightly on the cheek. 'Thank you for helping me learn to skateboard Nathan' I said gratefully. 'No you did that all by yourself, princess' He said winking at me while saying princess. 'That nickname is getting really annoying you know'. I said giving him the evil eyes. 'Is it, princess?' I just gave an annoyed look but couldnt stay annoyed so i just burst out laughing.

We walked towards the group who were now leaning against a bar at the top of a ramp. 'Yo guys guess what? She can skate like she was about to crash into a bin and she turned the skateboard with out even trying! hah, it was amaing though. With a little more practise she could be like.. awesome!' I felt my cheeks starting to burn as i was blushing. 'Nathan seriously I'm not that good, well not as near as good as you guys' I said honestly. 'Well maybe with a little practise you could be better than us' Nathan said rubbing the back of his neck. 'Dude what are you saying, no one can beat this' River said standing proudly and then laughing.

'Here come on gurl show me what you got' River said walking towards the ramp. 'Sure thang' I said mocking his accent which he just smirked at. 'Ok so you ever been on one of these' River said ushering to the ramp. 'Nope' I said popping the P. 'Ok so it might be a bit tricky so be careful'. He grabbed his board which said 'swag' which was black and a white background and it was in grafiti like writing. 'So you know how to bend your knees I'm guessing well instead at first you stand staight but gradually begin to bend your knees, got it?' I think I got it I'm not sure really I guess I'll go with it but I was confident with this. 'Yup, I got it' I said giving him a smile. 'Ok your sure 'cause it is pretty hard stuff and dont worry i wont call you a chicken want to back out' He said winking at me. 'No don't worry I'll be fine I won't chicken-out' I said winking back at him. 'K, ready?' he said excitedly. 'Lets do this!'
