Chapter 8:naming the puppy

Well guess what...we're keeping the puppy!! You see earlier on I "overheard" my mother talking on the phone to Sally and they were talking about how I have no friends and the puppy might cheer me up and all!! So when I herd we were keeping the puppy I kind of screamed "YESSSSS" really loud and mom have out to me for listening into other peoples conversations. Anyways I'm so excited he is so cute!!! So I was thinking I should call him.. Ding dong "Teddy get the door",mom shouted from downstairs. I ran down the stairs at a kind of speed which was strange. "why hello" Can you guess who it was? "Seth how lovely to see you" I said in a sarcastic tone. "Woof woof" the puppy came running from the sitting room into my arms. " I didn't know you had a puppy" said Seth staring at the puppy. "we didn't until yesterday" I said eyeing him up and down. "what did you call him?" I was silent for a few minutes. "Ammmm I haven't picked a name yet" he let out that devious smile again. "oh hello Seth, come in" said my mother from the kitchen. He walked coolly to the sofa and laided out onto it as if he owned it. I gave him a look. "so would you guys like some biscuits?" my mother asked from the kitchen. "that would be great Megan" My mother brought in a selection of biscuits and left them on the coffee table. When mother was out of earshot I asked Seth,"what are you actually doing here Seth" he gave me a smirk, "now now that's no way to treat a guest" Ahhhh he is so annoying!! The puppy was now getting hyper as he saw me eating a biscuit. "do you want one little guy" I said to the puppy. He now jumped off the sofa onto the floor and started barking and running in circles. I have him a rich tea biscuit. "you know what you should call him Teddy" o god did I really want to hear this he was probrally going to say something like "Seth the great" or something like that. "what should I call him Seth",I said in the most boring voice I could. "biscuit" he said plainly. Biscuit that was actually a really good name because biscuits are a light brown and the puppy is light brown and the puppy loves biscuits. "Biscuit it is then"
