Chapter 6:the bet

The next morning I woke up and I felt great until I remembered I had to walk to school with Seth....😒 yay me (sarcasm) I got up and got changed into ripped denm shorts and a light top and ankle boots since our school had no uniform and it was a cloudy yet humid day. I ran down the stairs nearly falling half way. Mom was in the kitchen and she had put out cereal and juice for me (Awwwww no pancakes) "hunny,make sure you be nice to Seth,he is new and i don't no how hes gonna fit in. He is such a manery sweet boy you should look up to him you no he will help you bring Cs up to As in your grades" O yes he is such a delightful boy and he would teach me how to bring my Cs into As by CHEATING!!!! Ahhhh this boy is getting on my nerves. "mom first of all he will fit in just fine and second of all he is the most RUDE,SELF CENTRED guy I've ever met and the only way he'll help me bring my Cs into As is by teaching me how to CHEAT!!" I said nearly screaming at her. "hunny,I think you got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning" Ahhhh no one listens to me so instead of saying something I regret I grab my bag and walk towards the door. "have a nice day at school sweetie and try to be nice to Seth" try to be nice to Seth😠.. I'll be nice if he dosent get on my nerves which will be a slim chance. I slam the door and walk into none other than our great king,Seth Cross. "god you can't stay away from me can you" I just try to ignore him but instead he imitates me, "o hi Seth how are you,I'm good thanks for asking Teddy" We are silent for a couple of seconds but then his royal majesty speaks "so I hear your a loner" I don't deny this because Ino he is right. "Seth why do you talk to me because if you think your so great and I'm not?" That smug smile appears on his face,"so you think I'm great because I don't recall me saying I'm great" "no Seth because you act as if your the king of Australia and is if your better than everyone around you" he looks at me "but it's a fact I am better than all of ye,I think I should be king,don't you" I roll my eyes at this. "everyone loves me" Seth shouts out in the middle of the street a few people stare at him as he says this

"let's make a bet Teddy I bet when I walk into the school,everyone will stare and I will be the centre of attention" I look at him for a minute "fine,£3 if I win" I can tell he is thinking,"make it £5" "fine" and we shake on it.

We get to the school door and Seth pushes it open. He walks into the school with his head held high and if he owns the place!! I just walk behind him ignoring the stares from other students. As he walks by some of the glamourous girls he winks at them and they giggle and whisper amongst themselves. We are just at our lockers when a hand reaches out and grabs Seth's shoulder. "why hello, my name is Tony Parker and you must be new here". Tony is surrounded by his guy friends he is like..how would you put it..the most popular guy in first year. Seth glances at me for a minute. "Seth Cross,please to meet you". They are now shaking hands for what seems like for ever. Seth then speaks up,"you have a lovely school here" Tony and the boys are now looking Seth up and down,wait why am I here again? Tiny then speaks,"yes what's not to like,beautiful ladies while he says this he winks at one of the girls, but i suppose some arnt so lucky either" as he says he looks at me, I am about burst out in rage!! they disgust me to how they think they run the place and how they can talk about people like that I am about to walk away when Seth says "well see you 'round" Seth says leaving Tony puzzled. So we now walk back to our lockers and get our books. Seth then comes close to my ear,"you owe me £5" Ahhhh that boy annoys me so much!! "later" I say and walk off just before he stops me. "what core class are you in?" Ammmm, why is he asking me this? "1:2,what about you" then the biggest grin is placed on his face. "well let's just say..IM GONNA BUG YOU ALL DAY!!" Omg this can't be happening. "noooooo, you can't be" I say this nearly shouting. All he says then is "see you in class, ms.bear" grrrrrr he I the most annoying boy I've ever met!!!
