Duncan woke up in the small cold hole with his back aching from the tough dirt he had to sleep on he looked in the "home" for Kim and found her crying and rocking back and forth gin the corner he started to hug her and say " don't cry please don't cry your ok mother can't hurt you now" he knew this wasn't true but he would do anything to make it that way Kim turned around and said "can we go exploring?" Tears still streaming down her face Duncan nodded and climbed out of the hole to make sure it was safe before lifting Kim out. Duncan suggested that they continue north and up the mountain in front of them a couple minutes later they were at the top of the mountain taking up a storm until Duncan jumped Kim screamed and tried to catch him she couldn't and Duncan landed in the river below them perfectly fine he yelled to Kim " ok now you jump I'll catch you" she responded " butttttt it's to far I'm scared "
"Don't be" Kim stared at Duncan closed her eyes and jumped and of course landed safely in the river after they had dried off they decided to start on there house Duncan said "Kim would you like to get the wood" she nodded and happily skipped to the forest while Duncan cleared out an area
