Everything you got in my head
Had melted in my heart like butter on bread
And I, I'm so weak for you
What should I do?
I linger on every word you say
I meditate on them as I fall asleep
And I dream of me and you
It's all that I do
They say internet friends aren't truly real, but why does it feel like the complete opposite of that? I've never even met you in person, but for some reason, whenever I hear your name, or see something that reminds me of you, I turn to jelly. We Skype for hours everyday. We talk to each other until one falls asleep, and even then I still hear your words in my head, I always dream of you. You're black hair and alluring blue eyes become so clear and bright in my mind. I can never not think of you, no matter what I do.
I recently went through a break up and didn't know what to do, but that was before I met you. You make my heart beat out of my chest. You made me feel things that I've never felt. I guess you could say,
The size of my heart
Grew larger with you
We decided to meet, and it sounded like the greatest decision that we've ever made. I told my parents that you were nineteen, just so I could go and see you. They asked if it was worth it, to go to a whole new city when I could find someone closer and settle down here. No one would ever really understand, because they've never seen you.
The circles on these maps
The planes that I flew
Time isn't a problem
When your already through
I could find someone closer
But they aren't you
Rain sunsets shinning the hills start to weep
Cause baby you live so far away from me
And what, what should I do? Which road leads to you?
This couldn't happening. I missed my train, it was the last one today too. Why'd I have to live so far from you? I sobbed into my hands, as I'm,
Calling your name and wondering if you
Can hear me with all the trains that pass through
But no, you're too far to hear my calls
The size of my heart
Grew larger with you
The circles on these maps
The planes that I flew
Time isn't a problem
When your already through
I could find someone closer
But they aren't you
Please forgive me, you don't know how sorry I am
Never was one to play games but why don't you understand
This sadness, they say is a gift but they lied
Can't help but to fell its a curse in my eyes
At first you were mad as I texted you. Trust me, I was mad at myself too. After a while, you soon understood, the constant apologizes that I rapidly said. I told you, you deserved someone better, someone who wouldn't forget. I believed you wouldn't love me again, but that's when you said,
The size of my heart
Grew larger with you
The circles on these maps
The planes that I flew
Time Isn't a problem
When your already through
I could find someone closer
But they aren't you.
