Kagehina - Years - Part VI

Kageyama was just walking home until he was attacked by a stranger on his back.

He swung his elbow backwards and hit the person in the stomach.
He turned around and saw who it was.

"Hinata? What the hell are you doing, dumbass?"

"H-hey..." And he held his stomach in pain. "You g-got much stronger."

"Oh geez, uhh..." he started panicking for a bit until he decided to take the boy somewhere .

He picked up Hinata bridal style and slowly walked home.

"Wha-what?"

"Calm down, I'm just gonna take you to somebody's house to get treated.

"Waaah! Don't kill me!"

"Quiet down! Somebody will hear us and get the wrong idea."

"No-"

Kageyama put his hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"Here we are."

"I recognise this place."

"You'll see."

They entered the apartment building and went up a few floors.

He rang the doorbell and somebody opened the door.

"Oh? Hello."

"Hi Yachi-San, I need you to treat him."

"OH NO! WHAT HAPPENED?! DID HE GET INJURED!"

"I "accidentally" elbowed him in the stomach and he might of not handle it too well...."

"Well, come in."

"There you go, I've bandage your stomach and spread some ointment on too. And here is some water with a painkiller."

"Thanks Yachi."

Kageyama was just in the living room while Yachi and Hinata were in the guest room.

"Ne, Hinata, can I ask you something?"

"Sure,"

"Eto...why did you disappear all of the sudden?"

Hinata flinched.

"Well, something happened and I needed to leave to country."

"Why didn't you tell us."

"..." He honestly didn't ever think why he never told his teammates.

"We would of understand if you told us. We could of been there for you if you told us."

"I'm sorry Yachi, but I just couldn't."

"That's okay. I'm sorry if I was a bit insensitive."

"It's fine."

"You don't have to walk me home."

"I don't want to, but it's the least I could do."

The silence between them was scary. The aura was very gloomy.

"Hinata."

"Hmm?"

"Why did you come back?"

"I-"

"When you left, I didn't know what to think for awhile. I got banned from the club for a bit too."

"How come?"

"Because I turned back into a king like I was back in middle school."

"I'm so sorry Kageyama. I really didn-"

"No, it's my fault for even falling in love with you in the first place."

"But-"

"Let's just pretend that nothing ever happened. We're just old classmates."
