I have spent my whole life wondering why paper cuts hurt the most,
and the only explanation i have is that everything we surround ourselves with, we overlook. We overlook the fact that something we trust and need and use so often has sharp edges.
Maybe that's why he hurt me so bad;
because he was a sharp, papery edge,
and i was soft fingers and eager page turning,
excited to get to know him, see what beautiful images i could create with him;
yet, he hurted me.
