Chapter 3: I Will be Killing Royalty

Start from the beginning

There were apparently things that not even the book knew.

"Lily, if you don't reign in your wolf, she will reject your human half. You will literally have an out of body experience wherever your wolf sends you," he tried to explain, but he seemed to stumble over the words.

As I was trying to understand what he meant, I felt the same pulling feeling I had felt with Eva.

I was suddenly totally away from my body.

As I walked, I glided gracefully across the floor.

"Hunter," I smiled gently.

He looked around wildly.

"Lily? Is that you?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm right here," I replied in confusion.

"I can't see you. I can only hear you, and you're in my head," he exclaimed.

Tilting my head, I walked to the front of him.

My step was graceful, almost like I was floating.

My hand slowly reached out to him, and I touched his cheek.

His eyes widened, and his hand shot up to his cheek.

I began to laugh at his reaction when I felt the same pulling feeling again.

Looking around wildly, I tried to figure out where I was going.

Suddenly stopping, my body jolted.

The room I was in didn't look familiar.

Then I saw two cribs in the corner with a woman hunched over.

I was about to get closer when the door of the room swung open with a loud crash.

On instinct, I jumped back and prepared to fight.

When I saw the people in the room, I wanted to scream.

Nicholas had barged into the room, and Lacey was the girl standing over my babies.

Her face was tearstained as she looked at him with pure hatred.

"Let me go," she begged.

"Oh that's cute," he chuckled as he stroked her cheek,"no,"

He shoved he into a chair, and I noticed a silver chair around her ankle.

I growled from deep in my throat, and Nicholas and Lacey both looked around.

"What the hell?" Nicholas exclaimed.

"Hey! You are with my boys, do NOT teach them bad language!" I warned him.

A sickly sweet grin appeared on his face as he continued to look around.

"Oh Lilian my love, where are you?" He asked.

"Okay dude, if you are going to force me to come here and marry you, can you at least not call me by my full name," I whined.

The fake look dropped from his face and was replaced by a genuine smile, which was weird.

"Fair enough, now where are you?" He asked.

"Well, I'm sorta here, sorta, you know, not," I replied vaugly.

"Lily! I'm freaking chained to a chair with this psycho! Could you try to make some sense?" Lacey complained.

"Yeah, about that. Nicholas, I'm heading this way as soon as I can, but on a condition or two,"I informed him.

"Okay, can you give me an idea of where you are because I feel a little stupid just looking around at air," he agreed.
