Nasha's POV

We all went upstairs to what I assumed was the game room, and let me tell you, it was HUGE!!!

Every game imaginable was there, scattered in the awesome room. The floor was black with disco lights swirling around. Kids were dancing in the center of the room, which I guessed was the dance floor. A bar lined one side of the room.

Good thing I don't drink.

There were drunk teenagers passed out and doing crazy things all over the room. The game room seemed to be more like a club than anything else.

We made our way to the opposite side of the room, the farthest place from the drunks. We went through a glass door and entered a different part of the room that made me smile.

It was full of antique furniture for lounging and just hanging out. There were a few games, like pool, ping-pong and Foosball that all looked stylishly old fashioned.

A fire warmed the whole room and made it feel like a comfortable living room.

My thought were broken when Matt sat down on a sofa and beckoned me to come sit with him. It was so hard to look at Matt. He was just like him. I clutched the necklace around my neck and sat down on an arm chair opposite everything else. I stared down at my lap, waiting for someone to speak.

"Well, um, I guess we all know each others names, right?" Matt asked.

I nodded.

"Nasha, why don't you tell us about yourself, then we'll tell you about us?" Rio suggested.

I looked at everyone as they stared at me expectantly. What do I say? I cant tell them what happened this morning, they'll only pity me.

A girl that was sitting on one of the love seats gasped. I think her name was Missy, Percy, wait, no, Prissy! That's it.

"What?" I asked.

"Y-y-your eyes! How did you do that?" she asked in wonder. The rest of the group turned to me to see what she was talking about.

"Well, um, they've been doing that since I was little." I explained, forcing my eyes back to their normal color from whatever color they had just been.

"Really?" Rio asked in awe, "Why?"

"My parents,"I thought about my parents and unshed tears blurred my vision. I felt my eyes go to their previous mourning blue, "said that it just made me special." I said, turning and wiping the tears away.

Rio stood up and walked over to me, then picked me up and comforted me. he brought me over to sit on his lap.

"Uh, what are you doing?" I asked as he inhaled my hair.

"You were crying, so I wanted to comfort my ma- I mean you. The others gave him a questioning glance.

"Well, thanks," I said. He was starting to creep me out. I tried to stand up but he was too strong. Rio growled after every attempt to exit his grasp.

"I'll never let you go," he whispered in my ear and I couldn't help shivering. He chuckled at my response.

"Well you're gonna have to because I gotta go, do, uh gotta, um, go do something very important," I replied, not being able to think of an excuse.

"I don't believe you." he said simply and tightened his grip.

I sighed and leaned into him. I had to be sneaky if I wanted to leave his grasp.

"Okay love," I whispered and kissed him on the cheek. He seemed surprised and shifted me so I was facing him.

"Love?" he questioned, looking me in the eye. If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was mocking me. His eyes were so sincere, hopeful, and joyful. Man, is this guy weird. Well, now or never.

"Yeah, love," I replied, trailing my finger down his shirt. He shivered at my touch and I smiled mischievously.

"Really?" he asked, clearly not believing me. I wouldn't believe me either. We met like half an hour ago!

I quickly elbowed him in the gut and jumped off his lap when he clutched his stomach in pain.

"No," I simply stated and walked off to find Garrett.
