He was only a couple feet away.

You can do it Camila, just walk pass him like you saw nothing.

My body shivered as I slowly walked past him. I tried my best not to look at him, but my eyes started having a mind of their own. My eyes looked at his blood stained arms; then he looked up glaring at me. I sped up my paste trying to leave as fast as possible.

"Wait", he growled lowly.

Great. This is just great.

I sighed stopping and turned around to face him,"What?". He furrowed his eyebrow, "What did you see?", he asked keeping an angered expression.

Make a run for it. Do it Camila, do it while you can!

I jetted off obeying the commands from my mind, but that probably wasn't the brightest choice.

"Dammit!", he screeched. I could hear his feet stomp onto the ground as he ran after me.

He was now closely behind me.

I tried to speed up, but he grabbed my shoulder sending me to the ground forcefully. My back slammed against the cold cement making me weep in pain.

"Shut up, and listen here little bitch, now what did you see?", he gritted through his teeth lowly. "I, I saw, I saw nothing please just let me go", I begged. "Don't lie, tell me what you saw!", he screamed gripping my shoulders shaking my body roughly.

"Never mind, shut up and don't say a word of what you saw", he said pushing my body against the floor and walking off.

I pulled out my phone dialing my mom's number.

1st ring

2nd ring

"Hello?", she groaned.

"Mom, please come pick me up. I'm at the mall", I whimpered.

"Cam, it's 10 o'clock on a school night. Are you okay? What were you doing there? Hold up. I'm on my way"
