Trapped

One Mistake

M's POV

Its been a little over a week and no sign of my cousins or the men that went for them. I sighed and put my head between my hands. I threw my unfinished food in the trash and sat back down. Right now I'm in the kitchen of the family business. We've been living here since they were taken. I felt a hand on my back so I looked up and saw Keats.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I just miss them." he nodded.

"we all do."

"how's Wes?" Keats sighed.

"he misses her more than ever. All he does is stare at a picture of the two of them. He misses drew to but.." he stopped. I know he misses them and its hard to talk about it.

"there's some food if you want any. I'll go try and take some to Wes." Keats nodded. I made him a sandwich and grabbed a coke and chips and went to his room. I had to take so many stairs to get to the floor we all are staying in.

As I was passing by, people would greet me and I'd kindly smile back. I got to Wes's room and knocked. No answer, I sighed and went in. I saw he was on the window seat looking outside while playing guitar.

"hey I uh brought you food." he put his guitar down and walked towards me.

"thanks." I nodded and he took the food.

"so what were you playing? Is it new?" he smiled.

"its a song I wrote for Alex." I aww'd and he blushed.

"thanks for the sandwich."

"yeah well I had to walk so many flights of stair-"

"you do know there is an elevator right?" I face palmed.

"your kidding." he shook his head and laughed. I smirked.

"haven't heard you laugh or smile." his smile dropped and his eyes were filled with tears.

"just let it out Wes. I know you want to cry. It's not good if you hold it in." in that moment he broke down so I hugged him.

"I miss them too. I know you miss her but you have to stay strong." after a few minutes he calmed down.

"better?" he nodded but he kept an intense stare. The next thing I know we were both leaning in and by the time I knew it his lips are on mine. I don't know what came over me but I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back. He wrapped his around my waist but didn't break the kiss.

In that moment I forgot about everything. I heard a gasp and we immediately pulled away. I sighed in relief when I saw that it was one of the guards.

"yes?"

"Mr.Chadwick will like everyone downstairs in the main area. He received some news and wants everyone there."

"we'll be down in a minute. thank you." Wes said. The guard nodded and left. I saw Wes put his head in his hands.

"Wes I'm sorry I shouldn't have-"

"I kissed back anyways." it was quiet for a few seconds then he spoke.

"look let's just forget about the kiss. There's enough drama as it is. I don't need you and Keats breaking up because of some dumb kiss. It was all a mistake. Okay?"

I nodded, I don't wanna mess my relationship with Keats or his with Alex, it was just a mistake. With that he got up and left. Haha now to take the elevator. Never going up those stairs AGAIN......

Wes POV

I shouldn't have kissed her. It was an in the moment thing anyways. It didn't mean anything to me.

"hey man, good to see you." I turned and saw Keats. I nodded.

"so what's the news?" Keats shrugged.

"I'm not sure. Are you okay? you seem.." I cut him off.

"yeah I'm fine. Let's go to the main area." Keats nodded and followed me. When we got there M was already there. Guess she took the elevator. When she saw Keats her eyes lit up and she went to him.

Keaton kissed her and my heart broke. I wish Alex was here. I saw M flinch and move back. I gave her a look and she sighed. Keats looked hurt but shrugged it off.

"I'm uh not feeling good and I don't want to kiss you in case I'm feeling sick." nice save. Keaton nodded in understanding.

"c'mon lets go with mine and um their parents." we nodded and followed her.

"I need everyone to stay quiet while I contact Wilmore headquarters. Apparently they have some news." it was quiet while Mr.Chadwick made the call.

"good to hear from you Chadwick."
