"Yes?"she said to her mother "Julia, your father is dead" her mother said to her with deep pain in her eyes.
In shock she ran out the house, as she ran she felt the icy wind hit her face. She ran for what felt like hours within a matter of seconds, not knowing what she was running from she finally sat down on a tree stump not too far from where she lived and processed. Her father had just died and she felt nothing, she felt sad but not in the way most would feel when they had just lost there dad. You couldn't blame her she never met him, he never called her, never wrote her, and never visited her....
After thinking it through a while she went back home to see her mother on the couch crying. As soon as her mom saw her she quickly wiped her tears off and give Julia a hug. "Are you ok?" She said in the softest voice. Julia gently replied "Yes."
"His funeral is next Tuesday, we will be going" her mom inserted.
