"Daddy, daddy, daddy!" Jungkook would shout running towards his father Taehyung in excitement. Just like everyday, Taehyung would drop him off to school and pick him up. Every week day he would see the sight of his young, innocent son wave goodbye to him in the mornings and be greeted with a warm hug in the afternoons
"Hi baby, how was school today?" Taehyung asked the young four year old Jungkook while walking back to their home, holding hands.
"It was fun daddy! We made a paintings and I made a painting of you! Look! Do you like it?" Jungkook showing Taehyung the painting. The painting was of two figures holding hands with love hearts around them and a sun shining in the corner
"I love it, kookie. Is that us?" Taehyung ruffled the younger's hair
"Yes daddy! I'm so happy you like it. Can we stick it on the fridge when we get home?" Jungkook tilting his head up to Taehyung, eyes gleaming with innocence and joy.

"So baby, are you excited for your first day of middle school?" Taehyung asked Jungkook as they walked to school together, holding hands as always
"Yes daddy! I'm so excited! Middle school, I'm a big boy now!" Jungkook said with glee
"You are a big boy now kookie, but remember you're always my baby okay?" Taehyung said, squeezing Jungkooks hand
"Yes daddy" Jungkook said, so innocently

"Jungkook, wake up this instant! You're gonna be late to school! You're 17 years old for goodness sake you shouldn't have to rely on me to wake you up!" His mother complaining, attempting to wake Jungkook up
Jungkook woke and got ready for school. And just like everyday, Taehyung would walk with him to school, dropping him off
As Jungkook was about leave the house Taehyung was about to leave too to walk with Jungkook
"Tae darling, maybe you should stop walking with Jungkook. I mean he's 17 years old now" his mother exclaimed
Jungkook and Taehyung suddenly stopped in their tracks. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"Yes darling but he's our son. So what if we walk together? It's nothing big" Taehyung replied back in a gentle tone
"Yes but Tae he has to grow up eventually. Just for today. Maybe you shouldn't walk with him. Just for today" the mother whined
Taehyung sighed. Knowing that arguing with his wife is like talking to a brick wall. Recently he had become sick and tired of her unnecessary arguments.
He walked towards Jungkook
"I'm sorry baby, have a good day at school" Taehyung said, cupping his face and landing his a kiss on his forehead
"See you daddy" said Jungkook solemnly. Not bothering to say goodbye to his witch of a mother and left the house.

The bell rang signalling that school has ended for the day. Jungkook was usually excited because it meant he could see his daddy after a tiring day but not today.
He arrived home and was welcomed by Taehyung.
"Hi baby, how was school today? Hope you're not upset about today" Taehyung hugging Jungkook
"It was okay. I missed you a lot though daddy, where's mum?" Jungkook nuzzled his head into Taehyung's chest.
"I missed you too baby, I missed you so much. And your mother, she went out, she had a urgent meeting to attend. So it's just us. Just me and you, baby" Taehyung stroked Jungkooks soft, chestnut brown hair.
"Good, I don't want mum around. I only want to be with you daddy" Jungkook said in a small voice
"Me too baby" Taehyung whispered
"Baby, you haven't given me a kiss today"
Jungkook went on his tip toes to give Taehyung a kiss on his cheeks but Taehyung gently grabbed Jungkooks face and kissed his lips.
"Daddy.." Jungkook looking at the floor hoping Taehyung wouldn't see him blush
"Yes baby?" Taehyung said in his husky voice
Jungkook went on his tip toes to kiss Taehyung again but this time he aimed for his lips and gave him a passionate and deep kiss
"I love you baby"
"I love you too daddy"
