Bryan

I was talking about our childhood days and Ashley was lying on the bed with the most beautiful smile on her face in the whole world. She looked so beautiful I couldn't control myself. I just wanted to kiss her so badly. I got up from my seat and leaned over Ashley, our faces only inches apart, and kissed her forehead. I, too was stunned by my act but I hid my expression by changing it into an evil smirk. She stared at me with wide and questioning eyes. A fuzzy feeling crept into my body and I just wanted to kiss Ashley again. She wasn't a girl who got into these emotions easily. She refused to recognize her feelings and pushed them deeper into her heart not allowing them to come up. She also isn't someone who is all touchy and allows every other boy to hug or kiss her. But I wasn't any other boy. I was Bryan. Her best friend. That's why she didn't slap me hard on my face!

"What?" I decided to break the silence.

"What do you mean by what? What did you do just now?" she looked annoyed.

"Ah!! Thaaaat?!"I said rolling my eyes. "It was just a forehead kiss. Don't flatter yourself, my dear." I winked.

"Fine. Whatever you say!" and she smiled back. She didn't get offended and returned my smile. I don't know what was going on in that tiny head of hers but she smiled back. Oh! I'm behaving like a lovesick high school girl. OK! "Stop it Bryan. You've got to contain yourself. She has just smiled not that she agreed to become your girlfriend. You dumb!" my conscience told me.

"Ya, right!" I totally agreed.

"What?"Ashley asked.

"What?" I asked looking blank.

"Nothing! You were staring at me. Are you alright? I think you just spaced out."

Yeah, right." I said rolling my eyes. "Now will you just sleep?"

"Will you just let me sleep?"she asked batting her eyelashes.

"Sure thing!" And I sat down while she wiggled a little under the blankets and turned towards me. She gave me a small smile and closed her eyes.

After a pause, again she twisted and turned, then lay still. I smirked. She again shifted under the blankets. My smirk grew wider. Opening her eyes she saw me smirk and started smiling herself.

"Can't sleep?" I asked.

"Naaahh!"

"OK." And I sat beside her on the bed and gently rubbed her forehead.

She slept peacefully and I just couldn't stop looking at her. I touched her cheeks, her eyes, her eyebrows, her lips. Every feature was so delicate and soft, so smooth and perfect. I couldn't keep my hands away from her face. She shifted a bit and smiled in her sleep.

Divine. I thought.

Sleep came over me while watching her sleep. I lied down beside her on the bed and slept a peaceful sleep.

When I woke up I saw that Ashley was in my arms, her head on my chest. I put a pillow under her head and slowly got up. The rays of the morning sun illuminated her heavenly face. Her eyes twitched a bit and she stretched herself. I quickly ran into my room. I didn't want her to get scared by a creep like me!

I did all the stuff a person does in the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, took a shower and sang along while doing all this. When I came back to Meghan's room Ashley had already woken up and she was taking out her clothes from the hook behind the door. She ran into the washroom seeing me enter.

Cute. I smiled and went downstairs to serve my growling stomach. After exactly fifteen minutes Ashley came down in the same dress she was wearing yesterday.
