Rant 61: Fragile femmes in the transformers fandom

Since when did fragile femmes become a thing?

JUST WHEN?

Okay, I was browsing the bayverse section of Wattpad and--bam! I see summaries regarding femmes being fragile. Now since  I have been watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents  and The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, it's shown me how society viewed women. And just how far we have come. In that time period we were viewed as: Fragile, scream prone,belonging in the kitchen, and if we did not react to murders then we were cold hard killers, and they were highly intelligent. There are some women out there who are fragile in various ways but not completely. Now, if you were a fragile slagging cybertronian femme then how the hell have you been alive for the past thousand or even the past hundred slagging years? HOW? TELL ME. HOW. Being a cybertronian in the bayverse requires to fight your way through life and escaping from the deceptions or killing a con. OR A BOT DEPENDING IF YOU ARE A CON. You can't honestly tell me that femmes have been rescued by mechs for thousands of years without them saving the mechs asses. . . . Seriously?

I don't know why this is such a catchy idea. It is demeaning because women have worked their entire lives to get over the stereotype and countless others have fought against it. That's the women movement to make us seem as people as the men. These days, being a woman requires to have a life of your own, and to have something. Not always being in the kitchen. Actually going out and taking care of whatever comes. Dealing with life in general as many tv shows and movies depict. And if we fall in love, oh well, that's a plus side! Someone to live the rest of our lives with, or, possibly divorce for their money. Now, if cybertronians had media then they would have a sexist outlook on femmes for that matter. And since they have methods of reproduction that can be quite disturbing,femmes can easily be seen as china pieces or reproductive easy-to-use method. Femmes can be strong. Because a piece of china cannot contain the weight of a growing baby.  So, essentially, they cannot be china pieces.

Because CHINA PIECES CANNOT SURVIVE A WAR.

BEING THROWN AROUND THE ROOM.

SMASHED TO THE GROUND.

ALL THE ACTION SEQUENCES THAT OCCUR TO THE TRANSFORMERS.

THE FEMMES WOULD BE DEAD BEFORE THEY EVEN MET THE MECHS.

IF THEY SOMEHOW LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO CARRY, THE FEMMES WOULD GO OFFLINE BECAUSE OF THE DELIVERY SINCE THEY WERE SO FRAGGING FRAGILE.

They are living, breathing cybertronian beings. Strong enough to carry a sparkling inside for the duration which can be four to nine months. They don't need to be  broken individuals that need mechs to repair them.

THEY CAN FIX THEMSELVES. THEY CAN'T BE A SHALLOW PERSON TWENTY-FOUR-SEVEN. FRIENDSHIP CAN HELP WITH THAT, TOO, WHATEVER AND WHERE EVER IT COMES FROM.

It disgusts me that femmes are seen as fragile china plates that need other plates help to do things.

It repulses me.

No, look, these fragile femmes cannot always get their knight in shining armor.

Not always.

THAT'S WHY THEY WOULD BE EXTINCT IN THE BAYVERSE IF THEY WERE SLAGGING FRAGILE. A EXTINCT PART OF THE CYBERTRONIAN SLAGGING CULTURE BECAUSE THEY WERE EASILY BROKEN. WELL, GUESS WHAT, SO IS THE CYBERTRONIANS ACCORDING TO THE MOVIES. THEY CAN ALL SLAGGING, FRAGGING DIE BY A SINGLE LAND AGAINST A BRIDGE. YOU FORGET THAT EXCLUSIVELY, WOMEN ARE NOT EASILY BROKEN. IT IS ALSO MEN. OH, YOU DON'T WANT THE MECHS TO BE EASILY SEEN AS WEAK SO YOU APPLY THIS FRAGGING PERCEPTION ON WOMEN? LOOK, MEN ARE AS HUMAN AS WE ARE. AND SO ARE MECHS AND FEMMES AND WOMEN AND OTHERS WITHOUT GENDER. IF THIS TREND CONTINUES, IT WILL SEEM THAT ALL FEMMES ARE WEAK, EASILY BROKEN, AND ARE IN CONSTANT NEED OF A MALE COMPANION.
