To skip, to let it go
It takes a long time to forget
Your smile, your love, your heart
It takes a days and days
Maybe even years
But after all I'll forget
It takes a long time to forget your words,
Your laughs, your jokes, your craziness
It takes a long time to forget
Your angry face, your jealousy, and our fights
But I'll forget
One day, I will.
One day I'll look back at these days and laugh
One day I'll look back and think I was stupid
To care
To fall for you
To forgive you
Once and twice.
One day
You'll show up
And I know I will
Forgive you...
