I bump into a wall, well what I thought was a wall. Hands go out to steady me before I fall and I look up to find a pair of...
"I highly doubt that." I say, still trying to get away. I thrust my body away from his, only to have his arm go tighter around my waist. By now, there's a circle forming around us. "Are you guys just going to stare or are going to help?" I snap at them, irritated.
Who does this guy think he is?
I hear shouting in the crowd and I turn my head to see Kevin. My eyes widen and a smile forms on my face.
Maybe he'll helps me.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll let her go, right now." He says, oddly calm. I turn to look at mystery guys reaction and am surprised to see fear. He quickly lets go of me and dashes away, getting swallowed up by the crowd in no time. I'm left staring after him, confused.
What just happened?
"Come on." Kevin says and we walk into the mass bodies with Kevin holding onto my upper arm to not lose me. We make it into the kitchen which was much quieter. He leans against the counter and I do the same.
"Thanks for saving me." I say with a smile. I was glad that he did. I don't even want to imagine what mystery guy would of done if Kevin didn't come.
He nods. "Don't mention it. What are you doing here alone?"
"I'm not here alone. I brought friends with me. I had actually seen Elijah and I was on my way to go say hi. Speaking of Elijah, where is he?" I say.
Kevin shrugs. "Somewhere here."
"So, what happened earlier?" I ask in curiosity.
I quirks an eyebrow up. "What do you mean?"
"You told the guy to let go and he did. He also looked kinda scared." I explain, looking at him.
"Nothing happened." He says, meeting my gaze.
Fine, if he doesn't want to tell me then I won't pry.
"Do you want to go outside for some fresh air?" Kevin asks me and I nod. Hopefully it will be much quieter.
We walk to a door that leads into the backyard. I enter after Kevin and take a few steps, but I crash into his back when he suddenly stops. I take a step back and step besides him. I frown at what I see. Noah was with the stupid tree sap.
"What are you two doing here?" Kevin asks harshly. I look up at him, surprised. I've never seen this side of him before.
Tree sap steps forward, swaying her hips with a seductive smile. "This is my party, silly."
