Levi's Pov

How did I end up in this place? I am a straight A student, always keep to myself, never start fights with anyone, and even have a after school job. Well I guess that's all in the past so it's now past-tense. I was a straight A student, always kept to myself, never started fights with anyone, and I even had a after school job. Now that's all in the past thanks to my most recent checkup at the doctors.

I don't remember the scientific term he used, but I do remember the side effects of the unremoveable tumor in my brain. I was damned to never love anything or anyone. To always watch other couples love and receive it while I could only observe and erode away in my own mind.

To watch my friends get married to the ones they loved for years; if I was lucky enough to stay with my friends that is. My parents are in the doctor's office right now fighting over what happens to me now. I didn't want to leave my friends, and even though I didn't show it I was very emotionally attached to them, but now the doctors are trying to send me away from all of my friends and family.

I don't think my parents can win this fight either; they have been fighting the government to keep me for a week now and losing. They have tried every attorney they could find in this pitiful town, but they are all to scared to go against the government.

I raised myself from the uncomfortable chair from outside the office that was the source of powerful yelling. I took the small area between the door entrance and myself in powerful and certain strides before grabbing the slightly worn out doorknob and turning it. The yelling stopped when all five people in the cramped office noticed me.

I let go of the doorknob to let the door automatically close by itself. I analyzed all the people in the room, so I knew the reason there were ten eyes on me and not six (my parents and the doctor) as I originally thought were in the room. After a few seconds of everyone just looking at me I could see it was because there was a nurse and a security guard which had entered the room when I hadn't noticed.

I pulled a spare chair from the corner of the room that no one was sitting in and dragged it to in front of the doctor's desk. Behind the desk stood the nurse who was standing to the doctor's left. "Ah, Levi, why did you decide to join us?" I crossed my legs and leaned back into the chair which was comfortable, unlike the one in the hallway.

The doctor that had just spoken looked like he eagerly awaited my answer so I just stared at him before sighing, "I got tired of all the yelling from the hallway, so I'm taking the matter into my own hands." Everyone in the room continue to stare at me knowing that I was easily angered from other people.

"Just give me the options I have. I just want togo home already." The doctor cleared his throat before rustling the papers in his hand and skimming over it.

"Well the aren't any choices to make." I frown, crossed my arms over my chest, and started to glare staight into his eyes. "The only option is to stay in a new project called S.I.N.A. a school that children that are cynically insane or neurotic can go to so they can still continue their education." I looked over to my parents and finally remembered there was a security guard in the room also.

I glared at the security guard until the gaze made him so uncomfortable he excused himself and left. Next I looked towards the nurse who immediately left as soon as I started a glare. "Well I guess there's only one option to choose from. I'll pack my stuff tonight, and make what ever the hell that's picking me up do it tomorrow." I heard my mother gasp from my left as soon as I had finished.

I glanced over to them bother seeing how heartbroken they looked. "Son, you don't have to go! We'll fight the government alone if we have to!" I stood up from the chair to loomed over everyone.

I looked straight at my dad who was comforting my mom since was crying. "Dad, you know it's impossible to win against the government, and we don't even have enough money to get off the starting line with them." He looked down at my mom again who's crying had only increased when she had heard my small speech.

I signed the form on the doctor's desk for the institute/school I will now be attending. My parents had reluctantly signed the form after they had calmed down enough to. Once that was done I basically dragged my mother out the hospital doors with my father helping. She kept trying to run back to the office and cancel me going to the institute though. Which made my father have to stop her every time.

Once we had got home from a dead silent car ride I went straight to my room and started packing my bag. Every shirt or object I put in my bag was another tear rolling down my face. When I started reaching for the family pictures on my dresser I collapsed onto the floor in silent tears so my parents wouldn't hear me. I kicked my legs out to propel myself into the corner so I couldn't feel of all my sadness coming from all directions straight at me from all sides. Once I felt my back hit the corner of my bedroom I felt a small amount of security from it, but no where near the amount a living creature could give from it's pumping heart. I had fell asleep like that still curled up in the corner with tears still running down my face.
