Tony shot me a leery smile as he rubbed his facial hair in deep thought.

Whatever he thinking, it better be "I'm bout to bring in more work for you to get paid and get you out ya moms crib".

"Aight, Ima hit up the connect and re-up. Just hold it down until I give you the word"

I nodded while finishing my plate of food, dropping the fork onto the glass dish.

"I spoke to Quan, he gonna get on this trail too he said" I mentioned.

"I know, he said that he got moves to make so he with it. we bout to get this money baby"

I shook my head, "Man hell yea, a nigga tired of living with my folks can't bring no pussy in cause Kyra baby ass always blowing a nigga shit up...cock blocking ass".

Tony laughed, "Yoo that shit wild son, and Kyra man your little sister is fine bro".

I glared at Tony, who laughed even harder at my face expression. He held his hand up in surrender;

"I know Cas, you'd pop a cap in my ass if I fucked with her, chill".

I side eyed him, "yeah ok man don't get fucked up that's my heart right there"

For the next 2 hours, Tony and I played Mortal Kombat on the Sega, smoking blunts and drinking. After the third round, we decided to call it quits as I needed to get back to the block and link with Quan.

"Ight nigga, I'm bout to be out" I say, as I stood up and stretching my arms.

Tony nodded, dapping me up.

"Ight nigga, ima holla at you with the word in a couple hours so listen out".

I nodded as I left his crib, walking to the train station to go back to my side. I walked down the block, passing the corner store which had winos, fiends and some neighborhood dealers lingering in front of it.

Some kids played in the street as the fire hydrant shot a powerful stream of water. As I reached the train station, I dug in my pocket searching for my token.

"SHIT!" I spat as I felt around in my pocket. I must have left them in my other jean pockets and I gave Kyra my last smallest bill.

I examined my surroundings; the MTA worker sat in the booth eyeing me periodically. I watched the 1 train quickly approaching the platform. I knew what I had to do;

I hoped over the turnstile and ran across the platform as the train approached the station.

"Hey! Come back here!" the booth worker yelled as he stepped his fat ass out the booth and tried to open the emergency exit door.

I ran into the red steel colored train and ran through the cart, losing the fat train booth worker. I heavily panted, catching my breath running like I aint got bad lungs.

The door closed as I sat down on the dark blue cold train seat, looking at the different tags of graffiti on the billboards of the train.

"Next stop, 103 st", the train conductor said.

I looked out the window at the bright sky and vibrant trees as the train squealed across the tracks. I feel like a bum ass nigga, hopping the train and shit.

Yeah, a nigga need a get rich quick scheme cause aint no bitches checking for a nigga hopping the bar. Fucking bum shit man.

I just hope Tony hurry up with that re-up cause a nigga hungry for the green.

Finally making it back to my side, I jogged down the steps as I left the subway and start to walk across the street but was cut off by a black four door car. I stared intentivly in case niggas wanted to move funny. I watched the windows roll down and I sucked my teeth once I seen who was in the driver seat;

"Yoo E you taking the train still nigga?" Bizz yelled out to me, laughing loud as fuck.

" This nigga here man, Yo fuck you that aint yo car that's yo momma shit!" I spat, then laughing.

I seen Los poke his head out the window, " Come on nigga, get ya money up!".

Before I could respond, they sped off in traffic, leaving me in the wind,

I rubbed my nose, mad as fuck. How the fuck these little niggas round here joy riding and shit and Im taking the train, not to mention I aint even pay to get on the shit.

Nah, this shit gotta come to an end now; being broke and I'm tired of it.
