Dear Katniss,
When I came to see you in the holding room I had so much to tell you. But I didn't know the right way. By the time I was ready to say what I wanted to say the guards started pulling me away. I'm scared that I will not be able to tell you how I truly feel. This is why I'm writing a letter. You are everything to me and everything I want to become. You are my best friend and my hunting partner. A quiet day in the forest with just me and you eating bread with Prim's goat cheese and berries are moments that I wish would never end for it is here with you that I feel the safest. Hunting together, killing squirrels and selling them at the hob has now become something I look forward to because of the moments we share together. Katniss, you are the best hunter I know. You showed me so much about the forest that I never knew like the many type of flowers and which ones are poisonous. I had always thought of you as more then a hunting partner. When Reaping day came I was so very scared that your name was going to be called. When you volunteered I knew that very moment that I had to tell you how I truly feel. Katniss, I love you more than words can say and I will wait for you forever.
P.S. Knock em dead, literally!
All my Love,
Gale
