"On a date?" Clarissa interrupted.
"You could call it that I guess." Tristan shrugged. "Anyway, what surprised us it that we saw you" He pointed at me again, "walking out of Starbucks-"
"What's unusual about that?" Robbie interrupted.
"Let me finish." Tristan whined. "We saw you walking out of Starbucks with this other guy that was wearing a suit. And-"
"What?!" Robbie turned to look at me.
"I'm not done!" Tristan complained again. "And the thing that surprised us is that a few minutes later, at the same time Indigo and I were going to catch a movie, there you are with Mr SuitMan again. Coi-"
"Bitch what?!" Clarissa turned to me.
Tristan turned and he arched a brow at Clarissa while keeping quiet. "Oh sorry, my bad." Clarissa apologised.
"Are you done?" Tristan asked and Clarissa nodded. "Are you sure?" She nodded again. "As I was saying, coincidentally we all chose the same movie. The last thing is, we sat behind you two, then Mr SuitMan yawned and stretched his arm out behind you like in those cheesy movies. The thing is, during that time, you were supposed to be in school."
"Oh hell naw!"
"Bitch you better spill the tea before I squeeze it out of you." Robbie and Clarissa remarked.
"Um hello?" A guy asked.
"Oh hi." Clarissa smiled. "What can I get for you today?" Clarissa tended to the man. While that was going on, I went to the bathroom to change. I changed and I went back to the main table to find Robbie and Clarissa tapping their feet impatiently and Tristan was busy grinning like an idiot in victory.
"Bring yourself here right now young lady." Robbie demanded. I casually walked towards them and the maddness began.
"You like this don't you?" I looked at Tristan.
"Yes I do, a lot in fact." Tristan smiled.
"So Tris, has it ever occurred to you that you also did the exact same thing but your position is on the other foot?"
"What?" Tristan furrowed his eyebrows.
"You see, you took Indigo out for a date, which caused her to not go to school so that she could sneak out with you."
"I get what you mean, but what's the difference between your situation and mine?" Tristan arched an eyebrow at me.
"Let me explain something. Yesterday, I was late for school so I didn't see the purpose of going back to school if I was already late. So I went out for breakfast with a couple of friends and as I was there, Robbie showed up. After I finished my breakfast, I had an emergency which caused me to leave my friends. And also with me not being at school, it helped with solving the emergency in an easier manner. I then solved the emergency and as I was about to turn back to go home, Mr SuitMan as you call him, asked me if I wanted to grab a coffee so I agreed because come on, who says no to free Starbucks? We had coffee and lunch and after that we decided to go watch a movie. The cheesy part you were talking about, I honestly didn't notice it. So my conclusion is that I have a more valid reason for not being at school, while you persuaded the girl into not going to school, and who knows the amount of work she missed." I looked at Tristan who was gaping in disbelief of what I said.
