Chapter five: the return home

The sun was slowly rising in the distance. Over the tall buildings an over the trees an hills. "To beautiful.." Sea said while walking out from being in the hospital for almost two months. "Yeah, but I have something more beautiful than the sun." Alex said while holding onto her. She smiled at him and put her arms behind her an grabbed him to pull him closer. He picks her up an walks to his dad's old rusty Chevy truck. Alex sighs and a few rust spots on the door. "I'm gonna have to try an fix that." He said while putting her carefully into the seat and covering her with his coat. "It's okay, it shows its old an still standing." Sea told him in reply with him. Alex walks around the truck an gets in. The sound of the truck was like a cats purr. "Still sounds good though.." She said implying to what she had said earlier. He looks over at her while pulling out of the hospital an onto the highway. He smiles at her and looks back to the road ahead. She leans on him while he drives and she turns on the radio just to listen to something. "Oh my gosh!" She said with excitement. Alex glances over with a bit of fear but it fades. He notices that a song that the song that was playing, was the song they heard when they met. "Oh my, well that is odd to hear that"
"I haven't heard it in a long time. It reminds me of when you were scared to come up to me and ask me if I wanted to dance."
"Oh hush now, you know I wasn't scared, I was just a bit nervous that you would turn me down."
"Never, my answer would always be yes.."
They listened to the song that they danced to when they first met while heading home.

A few hours later, Alex and Sea pull into there driveway. It was about noon Sea had noticed when she looked up to the sky. "It's noon Alex, and you haven't had anything to eat. You need to eat I don't care if you think I'm first or not." She said when he stopped the truck. He sights and hops out and around the tuck and opens her door. "I know, but I'll be fine I promise." He said while picking her up and taking her into the house. He puts her down on the couch. That couch had a lot of history between the two of them. Alex walks into the kitchen and grabs some orange juice and some toast and hands some to Sea. "Is it okay for now?" He said slowly while holding it out to her. "Yes, yes it's fine.." She takes a slice and a cup and looks out the window to the garden. "Babe, why don't we ever go out into the garden?" She asked while trying to touch a rose that was by the window. He took a hold of her other hand before speaking. "Well that's because I already have something more beautiful." He said while rubbing his thumb across her hand. Sea smiles in return.

A long while later Sea gets an idea that sparks her soul. "Alex! Come with me please?" She jerks on his arm so he can get up. "Well we're are we going then?"
"Out to the garden!"
"But why? There's just a water fountain, a pound an roses out their."
"I don't care! I wanna be the angel in the rose garden.."
Alex smiles at her an runs out into the garden with her. Sea's eyes light up with excitement. She wonders around an smells the roses as she walks by. "See I told you.." She said giggling at him. "Told me what? What did you tell me?" He was confused at first until he seen. He seen the glow that made her wings come out and it was beautiful. "Oh, I see now!" Her wings, very big an black. It shines like black diamonds in the sun an moonlight. The roses behind her made her look even more beautiful. He noticed that there are little red feathers that make it shine more. Alex smiles an gets on one knee. "Yes my angel.." His wings come out as soon as he knelt. His wings however, very big. Bout the size of Sea's wings, but his wings had a very dark color of red that showed though as well. Just like Sea's. Sea knelt as well and the combined arms and then laid in the garden. A while later, something very unexpected happened that Sea didn't want to hear about again.
