I watched Lucius' lips as they rose into a smirk. "Sure, is." This colloquy might be an endless one. This is getting more monotonous as more bickering came from their mouths.

"Is not."

One will say a thing but will be thwarted by the other.

"Yes, do." See what I mean? It had gone this repetitively. I'm starting to get sick of this.

"No, don't." To hell with this conversation, it is enough to make me dizzy, early in the morning.

"Will you stop it, you guys? It's getting kind of annoying. It sounds so redundant and I do not need that today." I forgot all the humiliation that I initially felt that very dawn.

"He started it!"/"He started it," they said at the same time.

When will it freaking end?

"No, you did!"/"No, you did." Will this ever halt? It has been forever with this freaking discussion, to the point that I've lost my shyness because of it.

"Lucius, just let him be. Mr. Pirouette, can you just do your thing already, it's getting late." I pointed out "I'll be going then."

"Was just messing with you, dude! Your reaction was fascinating though." A smiling dog er— Lucious had a grin on his face, period.

"Mr. Pirouette, again?" instead of replying to Lucious, rather heard him mutter before I was able to close the door.

Walking along the hallway, I remembered what happened last night. I can't help but admire Daren's new side.

When I opened the door, my sight went past across the woods. The wind whispered as if telling me to go inside and as if on cue, something went inside the forest.

"What was that? What were you looking at?" Someone spoke from behind me and it was none other than Lucius Palisade.

"Ah, I reckon that there's this animal that went inside the woods. Maybe, it lives there at the moment."

"What kind of animal, though?" he then asked curiously.

"A cat, maybe? It has black and white fur and about this big," I said that while showing it via hand gestures.

"Oh no, you must be kidding me," Lucius spoke as though he was shocked.

"Wait, why would I? Is there the need to be joking around?" He got me confused there.

"That probably was the Raccoon Ghost. The animal that you were talking about was caught in an accident within that forest some years ago. It is believed to hunt newcomers," he verbalized.

I got a wild thump in my chest after what he just mumbled. That's it! I'm creeped out already.

"Are you serious?" I questioned out of a random chill of the spine.

"Why won't I be?" he asked as if he's disappointed at my words.

"Is that true? That story you have there is quite strange, you must be making fun of me. Why would a raccoon do that?" I laughed, trying to cease the thought from playing inside my head.

"Well, I guess. I'm not the type to tease people about scary stuff. Some even say that it follows its victims in their dorms. The Seniors said that it was because of a freshman that did not feed the poor raccoon after begging with a hungry stomach." Fear is trickling within my being.

"Nah, that's not real." I replied, hesitating, "Raccoons are cute, they won't scare me even a bit. And if it was indeed a raccoon, I'll be able to tell if it was." The smile that he tried to stiffle, break its way to his lips.

"Then why are you stuttering? Don't worry that was only a joke. I just noticed the prints on your, you know?" He then roared in laughter. His angelic voice sounded nice even in his joy.

"What the fudge, Lux! I got scared for nothing." I lashed out. " Uh? Lucius. And please forget about that." I rephrased the way I addressed him, as I plead.

"Nope, It's fine if you call me by that name, Riene. I don't mind it at all." he cleared a lump of thought in my brain.

At some point in our conversation, we decided to part ways.

Sashaying against the warm hurl, until I realized that I forgot to ask the most crucial thing for the day, where my first class is. Fudge every little thing! What's wrong with this day? Why am I that unlucky?

Attempting to find my schedule, I already realized that I haven't got it from the office. I even tried to ask some that were in the way, but no one knew where BSP-Block is. So, I went to the nearest department but to my surprise, all the teachers were out and are in their classes.

'Geez, mother destiny is playing her strings again, huh?' I thought as an invisible puff of air came from my lips as I heave a heavy sigh.

"Hey, Miss?"

'Who is this now?' I thought, annoyed.

"What do you want? Can't you see that I'm grieving? I am probably late by now. Who are you even? Mind you, I'm sorry for my harsh tone" My tantrum started to regain conciousness and I'm almost on the verge of crying when he spoke again.

"Hmm, feisty! I like that. So what is your name and what are you taking up?" he asked out of nowhere as if he could help me.

"Noriene Feliciano, BS Psychology," I said while still in my huffs.

"Well, you're in luck, I'm a teacher here and is also your first subject professor," he said while smiling from ear to ear. His smile was so pure, but I'm thoroughly stunned to be friendly and grin back at him.

I was still in shock when he pulled my wrist gently towards a beige two-story building. Then we stopped at the second light brown door, a classy one. This school never gives up on surprising me. Everything seems expensive here. However, this is not the time to be marvel around.

"By the way, my name is Aldrin Sollano, at your service," he announced then winked at me teasingly.

I still can't believe what just came about.

First, my idol saw my underwear. Second, another idol of mine scared the heck out of me. Third, I forgot to get my class schedule and was lost while finding our building. Lastly, I just yelled at our professor. Goodness, gracious!

Damn. Is this really happening? I said sorry, right?

"AM I BEING too difficult on Noriene?" The unheard voice of kismet bothered.
