"Shhhh, relax" He whispers in my ear. My heart is beating at the speed of light. I turn my head as he starts kissing my neck. Tears fall down my eyes as he glides his hand up my nightgown. As many times as this happened, I know better than to fight back. Gripping the bed, I can feel him press against me. I clench my eyes shut and start to pray.
"Get up" my mother snarls. I sigh in relief realizing that, that was just a dream. Her bloodshot eyes glare down at me. She's drunk again. The stench of alcohol shields over her. "I have to go somewhere, so if you work today you need to go early. If not, then you need to just leave." she says leaving my room. Rage enters my body knowing why I have to leave my own home.
"Ok, I'll be at Darren's" As much as I didn't want to be at Darren's, he's the only person who would be fine with me coming over this early.
"Fine, you need to be gone in 20 mins" Without another word, she was gone.
I throw on the first clean clothes I see and rush to the bathroom. After brushing my teeth, I check the time. I only have 5 mins to leave. With not much time left, I bun my hair. I throw my book bag over my shoulder and leave.
