Secrets

Chapter 1

                           Lindsay's POV

        "Mom where'd you put my books? I have a big test tomorrow!" I yelled down the stairs. I was ripping apart my room looking for my notes because my mom loves to touch my stuff and put it in " a safe place". I rolled my eyes and I threw my shoes across the room. It's already 6 o'clock and I haven't even started . " They're in my room on my bed!" She yelled up
The stairs. I ran to her room and grabbed my books were placed neatly on her bed. I walked down the hall to my room and sat on my bed. I was just about to open my books to study when my phone started ringing and it was a number I've never seen before. I rolled my eyes. "I'm just not meant to study for this exam"  I thought to myself.

I answered the phone and heard loud drums in the back. "Hello?" I said. "HEY BABE HOWS EVERYTHING GOING?" the person replied. " Luke? I can barely hear you over the drums? What happened to your phone now?" I asked. "HOLD ON A SEC IM GOING TO GO OUTSIDE SO YOU CAN HEAR ME" he yelled back into the phone. I heard a door close and the drums stopped playing. "Hey babe. Sorry we're recording some new songs for the album and some fan got my number and told everyone on twitter so I had to get a new one." He said.  "Oh how's the album coming along?" I asked as I started to open my note books. " it's coming along pretty good I guess." He replied. "You guess?" I asked. " yeah. I'm just not as motivated and inspired as I would be if you were here." I sighed and frowned thinking about how long it's been since I've seen him. " I know it's been a while since we've seen each other but just think in less than 2 months we'll be together again. " I turned and looked at my calendar and flipped to the day with a huge heart around it that said Going to LA to see Luke. "I hate this distance thing. Just come and live with me here in LA." He said. "We've been through this a million times. You know I can't leave NY. I would love to but it's a big step for me." I replied. He sighed, "I know. I'm just hoping one day you'll yes." "One day babe. I just have a lot of stuff here holding me back right now. Plus I don't think your management would like that. We might get caught" I said as I started to flip through my note book to the pages I needed to study. "I hate keeping us a secret so much. And the fact they have me in a fake relationship to cover up my real one is beyond stupid." He replied. " I know but it's not like you have feelings for her and it's kind of getting easy keeping us a secret. We've been doing it for over a year now. " I replied, highlighting and circling stuff in my notebook.

****************3 hours later*************

"I can't believe Michael did that. He's lucky he didn't break something!" I replied laughing. " I know!" Luke replied laughing even harder. " oh my gosh babe it's already almost 10 and I still need to shower and study!" I replied. "Shit I was supposed to record vocals an hour ago!" Luke replied. " I guess call me when ever you get the chance. Just not during my test tomorrow!" I said. " ok babe I'll talk to you soon. " he replied. " ok babe. I-I miss you....... a lot." I said, drawing little circles on my paper. " I miss you too. Every second of every day. " he replied. " I love you Lindsay. " I smiled and said "I love you too Luke." Then the phone made a click noise and he was gone. I guess now I can try to study...
