My Strange Love Story

Chapter One

I wake up to my alarm going off, I wanna ignore it but knowing I can't, I get up.   I go down stairs and start some coffee brewing, then I go back upstairs to start getting ready for my job at The Coffee Café. I know, 'why would I make coffee when I work at a coffee place?' Well cause their coffee sucks, but it's money.  Once I'm ready for work I get in my car and start on my way, once I turn on the radio.  I pretty much don't care what I listen to but I prefer rock or alt.
     After driving a few more blocks I pull into the parking lot and go clock Into work.. 'yay...work' I hate this place actually.   Every customer that comes in just has to be rude, and the boss picks favorites.. And I'm his least.  But whatever.. I'm cashier so a lot of cute guys come in as well, but usually with girls.   So I'm going to die alone... Great!
     As I finish my thoughts a customer comes in.. And it's a cute guy.. Without a girl! Yay.
"Welcome to coffee café, what can I get for you?"
"Umm could I get a Mocha frappe..?"
"Sure and could I get a name for that"
"Yes, it'll be Joe, and here's the money, keep the change"
"Thank you" I smile and tuck the tip in my apron
     Wow he's actually really cute and he's not a total douche.  Even though just because of his looks I couldn't ever have a chance.  But oh well. 
"Joe.. Here's your frappe"
"Oh Thank you.. Uhh... Have a nice day"
"You too" That was weird.  It looked like he was gonna say something but oh well.  More customers are coming in now.  So great.  
"Have a nice day sir" And I'm done.  My shift is over.. Finally. There were so many rude people after the first customer.   But now I get to go get fast food and be on tumblr all night, yay! I go get some McDonalds and head home.. Well to my parents, sadly I haven't moved out yet.  And I won't till I graduate even tho I'm 18 but only 1 more week till I graduate.
   Once I'm home I head upstairs and pull out my lap top.. Oh my best friend tried to skype me...16 times while I was at work.. I guess I better call him back...
"Hey Jade!"
"Hey Alex!"
"How was your day?"
"Oh ya know... The usual, what about you?" I say as I start to eat my food.
"It was great, I had the whole day off, so of course I went to the gym then watched Netflix."
"Ah sounds fun, there was so many rude people today."
"Oh that sucks, Hun"
"Yeah but oh well, how's tater tot doing?"
"He's great" he says as he pulls him out of his shirt pocket.
I aww and laugh "..how long has he been in there?"
"Oh ya know... About 2 hours.."
"Alex! You can't do that.."
He laughs "And why can't I? He likes it in there" he says and I start laughing more.  
"I dunno but whatever, I need to go take a shower"
"Oh, okay girl.  Bye!"
"See ya" I close my lap top and look at my phone, Jeez it's already 7:30.  I go to the bathroom and start the shower and put on some music then get in.
