You were struck with an immediate pang of guilt. You were now a traitor to not just to Yellow Diamond, but everything the other three lived -and in one case- died for. You didn't know why you said yes. Maybe it was some weird superstition that it would turn out alright, but you didn't know where to turn. You would probably die if you didn't choose a side. You stood up, and sighed. "I know you have conflicting feelings for Homeworld," Rose said, a somber gaze on her smooth visage. "But you have to understand... There is beauty on this planet. All of its life... it's too amazing, and wonderful to simply go to waste. I can show you. Please, let me show you." You sighed again. "Okay." You said, the second time not hurting as bad. You wished you were back on Gallifrey. With your parents. Behind you, Rose smiled. "Thank you." The group began to walk away from you, up the red, stone stairs in the room except for Rose. "What about my Tardis?" You inquired. "Is that what it's called? How funny. We're going to keep it here. But you can visit it at any time, provided one of us is here to watch." You decided not to chide Rose for mislabeling 'it' as such, since 'it' was alive.
You followed, oddly enough not becoming tired in the slightest from all of the effort being used to climb said stairs. You didn't question it. Rose made sure you were behind her, by looking at you one more time, then opening the door to the room and exiting. You exited as well, with the other three following. You were immediately struck with embarrassment as you realized how many people were on the outside of the room you were just in. There were so many gems, some red, some green, some blue. A few purples, and even a black and white. It appeared every color imaginable was present. The room was made of a blue chrome metallic substance, with geode-like appendages sprouting from the walls. It was as if you were inside of a massive crystal. Your distracted state quickly ripped away from you as you remembered that everyone in the room had eyes on you. You hid behind Rose's skirt (you were kind of smol) and didn't make a peep. "Everyone, please welcome (Y/N) as the newest member of the Crystal Gems!" Rose chimed. That seemed to satisfy them, and they returned to their business, a couple gave you some toothy grins and thumbs-ups. Including Garnet though she was only four feet* away from you.

I've decided to pick this story up again, since it appears a lot of people enjoy reading it. I apologize for this chapter being so short, I'll make the next one longer! Consider this one a 'dusting itself off' kind of chapter.
*I find it funny I'm writing about a British show and using the Imperial system. Especially since America thinks we sTILL NEED IT
